Great family experience - Lovely family experience. We were lucky to have Mike as our guide. His enthusiasm was infectious and he has so much knowledge of the history of Killarney and Kerry. He was equally adept at communicating with young kids as well as inquisitive adults. The island is definitely worth the trip. Ancient monastic ruins and lovely nature trails. A lovely way to spend an hour and soak in the nature that makes Killarney special. Big recommendation

beautiful, calm, educational - I ended up going solo since my hubby was feeling under the weather, and it was a beautiful time anyway. My boat captain had brought a gift of a little bottle of bubbly & two glasses for us since we were on our honeymoon - so thoughtful, & we did end up enjoying the gift a few days later :) My captain, Diarmaid, shared a lot of interesting information about the human history of the area and about the flora and fauna. I also had nice time by myself on the island to take in my surroundings. It was about an hour all together, good communication, and easy parking. I would definitely recommend!

Lovely tour of Innisfallen - We took the 4 pm tour with Tony to Innisfallen island. Lovely stroll through the ruins and some great commentary and history along with great stories of his family. The scenery was breathtaking. Highly recommend. And can’t thank Tony enough torn the excellent dinner recommendation at Bricin.

Rough weather no problem - While the weather was less than ideal gor an open skiff boat ride our guide Mike was lovely. He was very knowledgeable and entertaining. The up side is that we had the island to ourselves and as no one else wanted to brave the weather there was no rush to get back. All in all a great adventure.

A Magical Trip - We had the absolute best day today with Ross Castle Boat Tours! Myself, my husband, the kids, Nana, and Granda all went out with Tony to Innisfallen Island, and it was truly magical from start to finish. Tony was an incredible guide – warm, knowledgeable, and great with the kids. He brought the island’s history to life in such a relaxed and engaging way, and the scenery was just breathtaking. The boat ride itself was so peaceful, and stepping onto Innisfallen felt like discovering a hidden gem. We had time to explore, enjoy the quiet beauty, and just take it all in as a family. It was the perfect mix of adventure and tranquility, and an experience we’ll never forget. Can’t recommend this enough – thank you, Tony, for such a special day!

A "must do" tour in Killarney. - The guide's knowledge of the area, his humour and positive attitude make for a great tour. The 90 minutes fly by and he was able to go into detail about the lake, the castle, the island, the surrounding park and much more. Could not recommend more!
