A great day out with a momento to bring home that will be super useful - This is a great day out, all went very slickly and to plan. Me and my 14 year old son each made our own knives. Mine for cutting vegetables and his straight out of Fortnight! We were carefully guided by the master craftsmen and gently shown the way. We were delighted with our own creations. Had the opportunity to buy more knives and scissors for gifts to take home. A very good experience and Nathan our guide could not have been better. We no longer have just hand luggage! Highly recommend.

Great experience 👍 - Had a great time with this workshop. My guide Nathan picked me up with his bike and navigated the busy streets like a pro. Once we arrived, we enjoyed a coffee while I could pick out the kind of knife I wanted to make from a vast selection of different options, ranging from small (~7cm) to large (40+cm) blades in a multitude of different shapes, each for it's own specific purpose as Nathanexplained. We then started with carving the wooden handle, hammering the metal into the appropriate shape, grinding it for smaller adjustments, and then sharpening on a wheatstone. At each step, the master smith gave instructions, which my guide translated, and also helped to correct any mistakes I made. The final touches were done by her in order to have a proper, quality product in the end, which I was quite happy about. All in all a very interesting and enjoyable experience
