Unforgetable day on Kangaroo Island - Collin is a responsible and caring tourist guide. He talks about a lot of fun facts and history on Kangaroo Island and answer all of our questions patiently. Besides, he introduces a lot of good spot to spot kangaroos and koalas. Thanks a lot for giving us an unforgetable experience.

A truly memorable experience. - A wonderful day with a very small group and Colin to guide us. There’s nothing better than being shown around a special place like Kangaroo Island by someone who was born and bred there and knows all the best places to view wildlife and has many stories to tell and to give local insight. A truly memorable experience.

Spectacular Island, Better People - First let me say, I cannot recommend this experience enough. I had planned a solo trip down while attending a conference in Adelaide. No problem booking. Then I had a friend express interest in joining me. No worries adding him. Then another friend wanted to join. Too easy. We drove down from Adelaide to make the 9:00 AM ferry from Cape Jervis. SeaLink had some electrical problems with one of their ferries, so they pushed us back to 10:00. SeaLink operated independently from this outfit, so it doesn’t reflect on them at all. I reached out via email to let the tour operators know, and they were incredibly responsive. They waited the extra hour or so for us to arrive and our guide, Curly, was there to collect us. Curly is a gem. He is genuinely one of the friendliest, funniest, and kindest people I have ever met. More on that in a moment. Curly was incredibly accommodating given our delay and helped us prioritize our itinerary to make the most of our time. He was always willing to answer whatever questions we had and his knowledge of the island is remarkable. He was a joy to spend the day with. The attractions of the island speak for themselves, but Curly brought a personal and engaging energy to everything that we encountered. About midafternoon we received an email from SeaLink saying that our return trip had been canceled due to issues with their ferries. So we found ourselves stranded on Kangaroo Island. Curly got us to a place that had signal so that we could try calling SeaLink to figure out what to do. He waited patiently while I was stuck on hold (never got through to anyone and eventually they stopped answering calls for the day). He helped us find a hotel that had a room available, drove us 45 minutes out of the way to get to the hotel, stopped at a grocery store so that we could get some supplies for our unexpected stay, waited for us to shop, and then took us around the town to show us the lay of the land before dropping us at the hotel. None of that was on our itinerary. He did it out of the goodness of his heart. He came and collected us the next morning (on his day off!!!) to take us back to the ferry and because we hadn’t been able to finish the tour the day before, he showed us the last few things we missed along the way. Again, I cannot recommend these fine folks enough. Their tour is exceptional, and I particularly loved the Remarkable Rocks, but the most remarkable part of the trip were the people that saved the day. Curly and the folks at Kangaroo Island Tours & Bus Charters have hearts as big as the island itself. I will never forget your kindness or the beautiful island we were privileged to spend a little extra time on. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

The full KI experience! - Curly, our driver, was a 4th generation Kangaroo Islander and a fount of knowledge! Had great historical perspective, took us to all the major highlights around the island, kept us entertained throughout the day long trip. Clearly exceeded our expectations! Can't say enough about Curly and the entire experience. As fate would have it we were the only two guests so it amounted to a private tour. Exceptional!

Best Tour! - I highly recommend this tour with Colin. He's very knowledgeable and accommodating. Colin went out of his way to provide us the best service. For that, we're extremely grateful. We needed to be dropped off at 6. Even though Colin took us to visit a lot of hidden gems at KI, he still managed to got us back right on time. Thank you, Colin. We all had an amazingly memorable time!

Great day on Kangaroo Island - Curly, our tour guide, was very knowledgeable about Kangaroo Island — the history, wildlife - and was an entertaining storyteller. He was eagle eyed when it came to finding wildlife for us to see.

Do the highlights - A great tour of the highlights of KI. It was a full day tour as the island is bigger than I expected. Colin, the guide, was a local of the island so knew its history, economy, environment and population. He was courteous, a good driver and kept the tour moving to see as much as possible but still had plenty of time to visit each highlight. The ferry across worked in well with the timing of the tour. Yes, I would recommend this tour to others. Thankyou

Fantastic - This was our second time on Kangaroo island, and we booked this exact tour again. We were not disappointed. We were picked up from our accommodation near Pelican lagoon, instead of the company's pick up location. Frank was amazing, taking extra effort on all occasions to make sure we spent as much time as we wanted on all stops. It's the little things that count. Choosing an excellent restaurant with vegan options, stopping on many occasions to see koalas, kangaroos and echidnas on the way, providing binoculars while sightseeing, and still managing to visit all areas included in the itinerary. This was why we got back to our accommodation at 9pm!
