Pay the extra for premium seating. Loved every minute¡ - We were two couples who has been on many food entertainment cruises. We all agree this tops any of them. It was cold and grey so did not take take advantage of the open deck like we always do. To be honest I'm not sure we would have left our beautiful white tablecloth premium window seat anyways. Views were amazing. Tour guide extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Our server very sweet. Same goes for the rest of the crew. Food was presented beatyfully ,( And I'm picky) The premium seating cheese platter was great. Brie, old white cheddar, blue cheese, crackers, sweet n spicey nuts, hot peppers, strawberries, small pickels. Soft buns. Arugula salad with onions and cucumber in a vinaigrette. I added the blue cheese and strawberries to mine. Yum. I had the rosemary chicken in cream sauce. Others had the braised short beef ribs, also very good. Caramelized carrots done to perfection, not overcooked. We all opted for the cheesecake. There were other premium options at extra cost. Large portions. Tasted and looked like it was fine dining. Decent wine list. Coffee was not to my liking but everyone is different. Island queen is a beautiful vessel. Entertainment was also great, just wish they were in dinning room and not down stairs. But probably the most practical. Did I mention we loved it. Lol. Worth every penny. $ 109 pr person incl all tax not tips or drinks. Coffee/ tea incl. Highly recommend!!

Top notch tour & the lunch was even better! - 1. The itinerary... it was a perfect 3 hour tour of grand cottages and little cabins along the Thousand Islands waterway east of Kingston. 2. The food... the food was far beyond our expectations. It was beautifully presented and delicious. The service was excellent throughout the tour. 3. The entertainment on the trip was the big surprise. We absolutely loved the singer and his sometimes corny jokes and impressions. Overall, this excursion couldn't have been any better.

Superb afternoon in the 1000 islands - Fabulous afternoon. Scenery outstanding as we sailed amidst the islands , enjoying a delicious 3. Course lunch at our table. Service was great. Drinks were very reasonable , no attempt to enhance the prices for a captive audience. Our MC and entertainer ( Billy Bridger) Was terrific - knowledgeable , funny and a very talented singer and entertainer . A must do , very reasonable trip in Kingston .

Great trip - The lunch and the wine tasting with appetizers were delicious. The staff and the entertainer were great. We opted for the guaranteed seat sitting and extra appetizer Worked out well. It was not the greatest day for sailing overcast and raining, but as the ship was enclosed we were very warm and comfortable. We finished with a very tasty dessert.

Island Star Lunch Cruise - I have wanted to do this for many years. From start to finish this experience was beyond my greatest expectations. The staff, the crew, and the entertainer were all courteous and friendly. Portion size was perfect, and the narration of sites stellar. I would put this on my frequent ‘to do and see’ list. Lovely. Thank you for jobs well done, a perfect afternoon.

Lovely afternoon! - I can't imagine a better way to see the 1000 Islands other then on you own boat! The luncheon was quite varied & plentyful. I loved being able to sit our\tside in the sun & wind.

Three Hours of Chaos! - Extremely disappointed. A three hour tour!! More like three hours stuck on a overcrowded boat with loud rude people, kids running around, screaming babies, musician attempting to sing over the noise, drunk passengers, kids hanging out the windows, strollers blocking aisles , plastic lawn chairs, and half the time the tour guide was pouring drinks instead of giving us a tour. We wanted to jump overboard to escape! Mismanaged in all regards! Guests bought on their own food and were picnicking. Some guests had no seats! It was more like a PARTY CRUISE … DEFINITELY NOT A TOUR!!
