Lola Ya Bonobo and Kinshasa City Tour
Lola ya Bonobo - Depart early from your hotel to arrive at the bonobo sanctuary by approximately 11 am. Bonobos, sharing over 99% of their DNA with humans, are protected in a unique reserve just outside Kinshasa. The sanctuary, nestled in the rainforest, features a lake. Upon entry, you’ll be directed to the briefing room. Visits are conducted in groups, with the first group starting at 10 am. Subsequent groups follow at 1.5-hour intervals, concluding with the last group at 4 pm.
Tour de l’echangeur - In the afternoon, embark on a dynamic Kinshasa city tour to explore the city’s rich culture and history. Visit local landmarks, a lively market, and the bustling banks of the Congo River. Accompanied by a local guide, uncover the stories behind each site, including the National Museum, Kabila’s Mausoleum, and the Place of Independence.
