Definitely go to the hot springs!! - Unfortunately cloudy when the sun rose but you can't control the weather! Our driver Wira was great and the hot springs after the trek was really needed!

Would 100% recommend - Driver(Sentana) picked us up from our homestay on time and provided local knowledge. The car was clean, air conditioned and the driver was very welcoming. Tour guide looked after us very well and selected the best routes for our ability. Was personalised experience as we were the only in the group. Breakfast was served near the top long with a hot drink allowing us to watch the sunrise in a sheltered area away from the crowds. Driver then took us to the hot springs after the hike and sorted out tickets, towels and lockers. The hot springs were clean, relaxing with a variety of poolsThe driver waited for us whilst we were in the hot springs and then transported us back to our accommodation.

Climbing Mount Batur was a beautiful — and truly humbling — experience. - Climbing Mount Batur was a beautiful — and truly humbling — experience. Our driver, Mudi, picked us up and brought us back safely, and was great company throughout the journey. But most of all, our guide Wayan Sukaning was absolutely amazing at her job. Her energy is calm and grounded, she’s incredibly caring, and she has a great sense of when you’re tired or need something — without even having to say it. Having her as our guide made the entire experience even more special. A truly awesome adventure that I’d recommend to anyone.

Mount Batur & Hot Spring - Went on the mount batur tour with my husband on our honeymoon and were greeted from the beginning with an amazing driver Aji who welcomed us with a warm cup of coffee and then we went on our tour with the beautiful Ayu who made sure I wasn’t scared at all and actually held my hand most of the time since it was steep at most points. Highly recommend going with this tour company, very professional.

Well Worth the Early Start - I did the Mount Batur sunrise hike with the hot spring option and had a great experience, even though the weather didn’t cooperate. Unfortunately, it was completely clouded over at the top so we didn’t get to see the sunrise, but our guide Madeh really made the most of it. He brought us to a few of his secret photo spots and kept the energy high throughout the hike. The trek itself was relatively easy depending on your fitness level, though I’d definitely recommend wearing long sleeves and a windbreaker because it gets quite cold at the top. After the hike, we relaxed at the nearby hot springs. While they were fairly busy, it was the perfect way to soothe the aches from the climb and enjoy some downtime with beautiful views of the lake. We also stopped at a Balinese coffee plantation where they showed us the process of making traditional Balinese coffee, including the famous Luwak coffee made from free-roaming civets. We got to sample a wide variety of teas and coffees, which was a really nice surprise to end the morning. A huge thanks to Wira, who went above and beyond as our driver. He was incredibly reliable, navigated the dark early-morning roads with ease, and patiently waited for us throughout the morning. He was informative, helpful, and made us feel safe and well taken care of from start to finish. Even without the sunrise, the whole morning was memorable thanks to the amazing team. I’d highly recommend doing this trek with these guides.
