100 highly recommended - We had a very good hiking guide who ensured we were able to keep pace to reach the peak in time without getting too tired to slow down the climb. We were also able to reach a very nice viewing point for the sunrise which was an unforgettable experience. Highly recommended.

Fabulous - It was a very well oiled trip!
We met our lovely driver Rantini who drove us to the village surrounding Mount Batur - she drove very safely and made us feel very comfortable! (Especially in the dark and windy roads!)
We then met our fabulous guide Ageng - he was very knowledgable and got us up and down safely! He also taught us information about the local village and family life which was a lovely touch! He provided information as we went and offered lots of support and stops as required! He made us a hot drink and breakfast at the top and was an excellent photographer!
The trip to the coffee plantation was great and a nice opportunity to try local teas and coffees!

Sunrise hike - I highly recommend this experience - the group guide was amazing and managed to keep us away from most of the crowds. The view at the top is well worth the hike, which is fairly easy to do. They also provided a delicious breakfast and coffee at the top.

Great - We had a great time on the sunrise tour. ARTA was a great driver for our trip to Mount Batur. He provided great insight and a smooth trip to and from the area. He was very helpful in communicating our pick up and drop offs and did so perfectly. Although we didn’t get good weather at the top we still had an amazing time!

Incredible tour - The whole day was amazing and I couldnt recommend it more. From the clear communication the day before, advising of pick up time and place to the prompt pick up morning of, the driver (Dewa) was so friendly. The guide on trek (Gde) was amazing, always checking in to make sure we were OK, stopping for breaks when needed and the breakfast up top was great! Stopping at the coffee AKASA was amazing, Absolutely incredible tour!

Mount batur Majesty - An amazing guide thank you Jero, he let us go at our own pace and take breaks when needed and also took amazing pictures, a lovely driver and great time at the coffee plantation too.

Phenomenal - What a wonderful morning! We got so lucky with the sunrise, it was breath taking. Our guide Lina was also brilliant. She made the hike so easy & enjoyable. we had a brilliant morning.

Mount batur akasa cafe - The day trip was great, our driver Rudi made the day extra good by allowing us to “customize our on trip”, we had a great day extra points to him. If you get Rudi as your driver you will have an absolutely great day!

My thanks with full of love - Thank you very much to Driver AYU (My first time encounter a women driver in Bali and she nail it with the road condition to Kintamani and small roads). She is fluent in English. Secondly to Mt Batur, the guide Wayan is well prepared with 2 hiking sticks for me to use, guiding together with my pace towards the peak. He is incrediblly and love his passion on climbing and hiking Mt, he is resourceful with Bali's Mountain. I have an awesome memories watching the sunriset at Mt Batur.

Be prepared!!! - Sunrise was beautiful! … however the hike was more difficult that many videos online would have you believe. It’s so necessary to bring shoes with grip! Everyone slipped at some point including the guide so I recommend wearing something to cover your legs as one person in shorts cut their legs on the rocks. It’s really cold at the top so bring something warm. Worth the trip but be prepared!
