• Mount Batur - Mount Batur (Gunung Batur) is an active volcano located at the center of two concentric calderas north west of Mount Agung on the island of Bali, Indonesia. The south east side of the larger 10×13 km caldera contains a caldera lake. The inner 7.5-kilometer-wide caldera, which was formed during emplacement of the Bali (or Ubud) ignimbrite, has been dated at about 23,670 and 28,500 years ago. On 20 September 2012 UNESCO made Mount Batur Caldera a part of the Global Geoparks Network.

Our comprehensive Mount Batur Sunrise Trekking package is designed to provide you an unrivaled experience of trekking the active volcano in Bali with an exquisite sunrise view. We will fetch you from your hotel at 01.30 AM and transport you to the commencement point of Mount Batur trekking. Throughout the trekking, our guide will be by your side. Our guide will provide a brief orientation about the trek and share specific details about the volcano prior to starting the trek.

If during the trek you feel exhausted, you can let our guide know to pause for some recuperation before proceeding with the trek. Around 06.30 AM, you’ll be at the peak of the mountain, and enjoy a breathtaking sunrise view over Mount Abang and Mount Agung. If the day is clear, you might be able to see Mount Rinjani Lombok. As you take in the beautiful sunrise, a simple breakfast with special volcanic steam eggs will be served. Once the activity concludes, we will assist you with the descent from the volcano and drive you back to your hotel.
