The Kintamani Volcano area comprises three main villages: Penelokan, Batur, and Kintamani. Nearby, ancient villages around Batur Lake are often referred to as Bali Age Village. Penelokan, at the southernmost point of the crater rim, offers a spectacular view as you crest the ridge and marvel at the twin caldera of Lake Batur.
