• Mount Batur - 1. The hike will commence from the base of Mount Batur at 3:45 am, guided by an experienced and professional local guide.

2. The journey to the summit takes approximately 2 hours or less. Feel free to take breaks as needed, and don’t hesitate to ask your guide for a pause.

3. By around 6 am, or earlier, you will reach the top of Mount Batur, where you can enjoy breathtaking views of the mountain, lake, and expansive caldera.

4. Before sunrise, the local guide will serve a delicious breakfast, allowing you to savor the meal and a hot drink while watching the sunrise, keeping you warm.

5. Witness the hot steam where your guide cooks bananas and eggs, offering a unique experience of the hot springs.

6. Next, explore the main crater and enjoy the spectacular views.

7. The descent to the car park typically concludes between 8:30 and 9:30 am, depending on the duration of your stay at the summit and your pace.

• Satria Agrowisata - Visit a coffee plantation to taste various coffee types and learn about coffee and herbs. A cup of Luwak coffee costs 50K, but other tastings are free.
• Tirta Empul Temple - This site will be passed on the way back.
• Tegalalang Rice Terrace - If the route includes Tegalalang on the return journey, the Tegalalang Rice Terrace will also be passed.

Hiking Mount Batur is considered the most favored sunrise trek in Bali for several reasons. The journey not only unveils the allure of the Batur volcano, but it also offers the opportunity to get close to the island’s second sacred mountain and feel the warmth of an active volcano. Additionally, you can personally witness magnificent sunrise views as the sky transitioning from dark, to red, to yellow, and eventually blue.

The adventure typically starts between 3:45 am to 4:00 am from the base of Mount Batur, guided by our experienced team. Later, we ascend towards the peak of Mount Batur under the cover of darkness, armed with flashlights and hiking poles. The millions of stars above and the crisp, cold air serve as your backdrop during the upward journey, with the sounds of insects adding texture to the nocturnal environment.
