- A bit cold over there in the morning, but the views from the mountain were great! Everything was on time, driver picked us up right from our villa.

More than Batur - Found a Google Maps review company looking for Jeep tours to Batur. Quickly agreed on the price and date via WhatsApp , chatted with the manager, after which he said that we would be texted by the driver. The Jero driver texted us, specified the time and place, then picked us up at 3:30 a.m. at the hotel. The road is long enough, but he was very comfortable in the car. The road is rocky because of the constant altitude variations. At the pick-up point, we had tea and were intercepted by Liong in a jeep. There was a lot of shaking and it was fun enough. We arrived a little early, so we were able to get some good seats upstairs. Very cool driver! Liong took a lot of photos, helped us illuminate the flashlight until dawn. The dawn itself was not the best because of the clouds, but even the view of the mountain in the clouds was definitely worth it! Afterwards, we drove into a field of frozen magma and the driver agreed to wait until there were fewer cars and better photos could be taken. Then we drove to the lake, where we were able to take another walk and a photo. After that, we were left at the hot springs (we didn't want to swim), where Jero picked us up again. On the way back to the hotel, we stopped by a coffee shop where we didn't buy anything, but it's a mandatory part of the routes here. Also at our request, the driver stopped at the Subak Pulagan, where they were able to take wonderful photos. We had an interesting chat with Jero and Liong about the culture and life of the locals. Thanks to the company for the cool people working on the tours!

Mt Batur - Ridho picked me up at 3.30am and we drove to Mt Batur, where Saka took over and drove the Jeep up to the viewing point. He helped me take photos and took me to the black lava field. Then we went back down and Ridho took me to a coffee plantation and breakfast. He was very kind and helpful and took me back to the hotel early as I didn't want to swim in the hot springs. He also taught me about life in Bali while drving. :)

Great Experience - Great experience seeing the sunrise at Mount Batur. Our guides Leon and Garis were awesome. Pickup/drop off from the hotel was efficient. Ending at the hot springs was a nice way to end an early morning.

A long day but worth the effort. - A great adventure, challenged by the weather and recovered by our guides. Tekila was our driver and made sure we got where we needed to be safely, he was great with the banter with my teens and made the drive move quickly. Dedik gave us a great ride up the Mountain, having the area to ourselves was priceless. Thanks both for a great day.

Great trip Mount batur - We were on the coolest jeep and hiking trip on Mount batur. We were picked up by our super cute driver Rapa, who kept ready in good time and kept us updated throughout the trip. At the start we met our sweet guide who was very attentive to us throughout the hike, and was nice to take a lot of good photos during the trip. We got delicious hot cocoa and a nice breakfast cooked on top. When we came down, Rapa was again ready to drive us back to our hotel, where we both had the opportunity to see coffee plants and hot springs on the road.

Friendly Guides and Driver - Our Mount Batur Jeep Sunrise tour with this exceptional driver was the highlight of our Bali trip. He was not only a skilled driver but also a friendly and engaging companion. The sunrise view from the volcano was out of this world, and we felt grateful to have shared the experience with such a fantastic guide.

Jeep sunrise Mt batur - We had a great time with Dhey Dastra as our driver who picked us up on time fairly early at 3am for the sunrise at a location which overlooked the east - would recommend!

Not what it seems and a lot of dubious stuff going on. - I am going to be honest with this review as I have had to make a second account:
- The driver is fine, but they constantly ask you to write a good review and send a screenshot of the review. This created a strange pressure worsened by the language barrier. It is my suspicion they do not get paid by their bosses unless their bosses receive this screenshot. This makes them a victim also so it is a difficult situation where they come off as desperate and it also explains why the reviews are all so perfect and mentioning the drivers names.
- The sunrise itself is beautiful, but two things, it is incredibly weather dependent, we got lucky, but others didn't. Secondly, the jeeps don't actually go anywhere near the top, actually about 1/4 to the top, but the view is still great. Our jeep driver also went out of his way to take photos of us at the sunrise and was very good at taking them and did not charge and was not overbearing or annoying.
- the company is clearly in cahoots with the hot springs and the coffee plantation. I would highly recommend not doing either of these. Firstly, the springs is horrible. It is a tourist trap as the geothermal heat is clearly not enough for these types of springs and they are just glorified heated pools. Due to the adjacent lake there is an abysmal amount of flies. The facilities are disgusting. We did not bother with the food as the flies were already an annoyance in the pool. The 'free drink' with the tour is either a bottle of water or whatever glass of cheap juice they have en masse that day.
- the coffee plantation pretends it is one. It is also a tourist trap and has a caged wild animal that is associated with coffee, a civet, it is clearly not a coffee farm and they clearly do not grow anything of significance, the products looked low quality and were overpriced as luxury when they were actually cheap and instant grounds that were repackaged.
- the tour itself should most likely be about 30 pounds per person but they buff it out due to this cohesion with the local tourist traps.
- we did not bother with the breakfast as the activities after the sunrise soured our mood.
I would not recommend doing this if you are a genuine person who does not like to confront scammers while they are subtly scamming you.
