Great! - Very nice tour and friendly person! We did manage to see the northern lights; the guide knows the region and the best spots.

Amazing - Alex was really friendly, and brought us to a really good spot, just in time to see the northen lights. It was unbelievable! We were a group of 16, which for me was a bit much, but he took time and made photos if asked. In the highlights it says the tour includes dinner, which is (as Alex told us) not the case anymore. Other than that we had a great time.

Aurora Borealis - I didn't think the chance of me seeing the northern lights would be a lot higher with a tour. But I had never seen the lights before, so I decided to still do this your. And that was a good decision. The guide was really nice, we drove to a spot where there are no city lights. I made some awesome shots from the Northern Lights that evening, so it was all worth it for me.

Northern lights by the fire - I booked Kiruna Magical Northern Lights Photography Tour on march 18 2019. The host Alex contacted me on the day of the tour, to give details and update on the weather conditions and what we could expect for the night. He picked me up at the hotel and with 2 more people, he drove us to a lovely frozen lake, where he made a fire to keep us warm, while waiting for the aurora to show up. He also provided me with a delicious vegetarian bun to enjoy by the fire. We saw the lights and Alex took pictures of us with the aurora on the background. It was a perfect start for my vacation. I strongly recommend to book with him to enjoy Kiruna.

Aaaaawesome northern lights tour! - It was a fantastic experience to see the northern lights with Alex! He is very knowledgable, fun and experienced guide! We didn't get to see the northern lights on our tour day, but he kindly took us again on another night free of charge! He picked us up with hot drinks and made a bonfire (not in the car, but on a lake=)) to keep us warm. That night we were extremely lucky and got to see beautiful colourful sky. While we were staring at the northern lights Alex took photos which he kindly shared with us later. We would definitely recommend tours with Explore Kiruna to everyone and would surely come back ourselves.

Amazing Northern Lights Toor - Alex was a really fantastic tour guide. He picked us up from our hotel in Kiruna, provided us with food and a warm drink and took us to a spot on the edge of the city. When after spending a bit of time at the same place, we realised the clouds will not move way. So Alex drove us further away in the direction of Abisko, where there was no cloud cover. He safely parked on the side of the road, when the northern lights appeared in the sky. The sky was incredible, filled with green and even pink stripes! Alex took a beautiful photo of my girlfriend and I with the night sky too. It was a magical adventure.

Perfect way to see the Northern Lights ! - Alex was a wonderful guide. Helped with Camera set ups and had his own to take pics. A very nice man, chatty and very knowledgeable. A pleasure to spend the evening with him, and a perfect way to see the lights. Will be doing this again ! Quick to respond with pics too. All in all a great experience and wouldn't hesitate to recommend !! Thankyou Alex :-)

Captured the Northern Lights! - This was a great tour, Alex was a terrific guide and willing to help everyone with camera settings to capture the Northern lights. Upon pickup at our hotel he had hot tea waiting for us onboard his van. He was very conversational and answered any questions. He even took photos of us and everyone traveling and sent them to us afterwards. That was nice. The only criticism I had was the long walk (15 minutes in deep snow) to visit a spot he wanted to light a little fire at. I really don’t think that was needed as we had plenty of beautiful spots in between to capture amazing views. All in all we do plan on going with Alex again when we visit Kiruna and the ice hotel again.

Exhilarating, extremely cold winds - Alex was very helpful in setting up the DSLR to try to capture the Northern Lights . Unfortunately weather was not favorable and only a small glimpse of the lights was visible
