• Kiseljak - The first town on our route is Kiseljak, renowned for its natural sparkling water springs. On our return journey, we’ll pause to sample the sparkling water directly from the springs. Important Note: The remaining hours will be dedicated to travel time from pick-up to drop-off.
• Fojnica - Today, Fojnica is celebrated for its spa, known for its radioactivity and healing properties, which were examined in the late 19th century. The spa’s use began after World War I. Fojnica was captured by the Ottoman Empire in the spring of 1463 and was the second-largest town in Bosnia, surpassed only by Srebrenica. The population of Fojnica has since decreased. Under Ottoman rule, it was incorporated into the Visoca nahija in the 17th and 18th centuries. After our hiking tour, we’ll stop in Fojnica for lunch.
• Izletište Vladića vrh - From this picturesque outing spot, we’ll commence our hiking tour, walking to the Kozice Waterfalls. We’ll enjoy the forest and stunning scenery until we reach the entrance of the Kozice Waterfalls. The path is mostly paved and gently descends without steep hills.
• Kozice Waterfalls - This incredible location is ideal for experiencing nature in its full splendor and escaping the everyday hustle and bustle. Adjacent to the waterfalls, on a cozy plateau, there’s a special area for relaxation. You’ll find a mini fridge, a basin with spring water, and even a fireplace. The waterfalls can be admired from a charming viewpoint along the path. We’ll stroll down to the waterfall plateau to fully appreciate the beauty of the Kozice waterfalls. There are wonderful spots among the trees to enjoy the waterfalls, and we’ll ensure we visit them all. The Kozice Waterfalls offer three delightful areas to explore and enjoy the view. We’ll start by visiting the first one, just a short walk from the entrance.
• Kozice Waterfalls - The first stage. Not far from where the stunning Kozice waterfall begins, we’ll hike to the first spot and reach the plateau, offering an amazing view of the waterfall. It’s the perfect place to capture some great photos and enjoy the soothing sound of the splashing water.
• Kozice Waterfalls - Next is the second stage! It’s just a short distance from the first stage. Here, we’ll experience the middle plateau of the waterfall. It’s a fantastic spot to take in the breathtaking views of both the lower and upper parts of the beautiful waterfall.
• Kozice Waterfalls - The third stage. It’s a quick 10-minute walk from the second viewing point to the third plateau of Kozice Waterfall. It’s the perfect spot to enjoy the incredible view of the waterfall! You’ll also love the charming little water lakes around the plateau. You can kick off your shoes, take a leisurely stroll, and savor the cool, fresh water of the Kozice River. We can even enjoy a cup of coffee or tea while listening to the marvelous sounds of nature and taking in the stunning views of the waterfall from the first, second, and third viewpoints.
• Restoran “Kamin Stara Banja” Banjska 3, Fojnica - On our return, we’ll make a stop in the charming town of Fojnica at a restaurant called “Stara Banja Fireplace” for lunch. We can indulge in some delicious Bosnian dishes as well as any other favorites you’re craving. Plus, the restaurant is nestled in a forest, making it the perfect spot for a delightful lunch break. Can’t wait!
• Kiseljak water park - As we head back to Sarajevo, we’ll stop at Kiseljak Water Park. There, we can taste or collect some of the famous sparkling water the town is known for. It’s exported worldwide, so it’s definitely worth checking out!
