You’ll traverse a brand new pedestrian bridge, opening in 2024, that leads into the lakefront park.

• Saint Cloud - At the lakefront park, discover several more miles of paved trails, a pavilion in the middle of the lake offering stunning 360-degree views, a free splash pad, a boat marina, a fishing pier, a lakefront restaurant, a sandy beach, volleyball nets, a playground, a concession stand, multiple restroom facilities, and numerous picnic tables and benches throughout the park.

Expect to encounter even more Florida wildlife on this segment of the ride, as alligators and turtles are frequently seen basking at the lakefront ponds. Keep an eye out for black squirrels, rabbits, and families of ducks often spotted along the lakefront. Take a break at one of the many shaded areas along the trail to relax and enjoy nature up close. Or pause to watch the adventurous swimmers at the beach, where alligators and snakes are present.

• Saint Cloud - If shopping is on the agenda, venture down the newly paved multi-use trail, opening in 2024, that connects the lakefront to the downtown area. This 1-mile trail winds through the center of Florida Avenue, leading directly into the downtown area where you can park your bike and explore the local shops and restaurants. The ice cream shop is particularly popular.
