• Tunturitie 2 - This adventure takes participants off the beaten path, allowing them to explore some of the most scenic snowmobile routes favored by locals. Along the journey, they will pass through genuine Lappish villages and landscapes, while hearing fascinating stories about life in Lapland. The snowmobile trail ranges from open swamps to enchanting forest paths, offering breathtaking views throughout the ride.

Participants will enjoy a warm, delicious lunch at a cozy restaurant and a coffee break at a delightful local café, all while absorbing the authentic Lapland atmosphere. This activity offers a truly immersive experience into the region’s culture and natural beauty, fostering a deeper connection to the area. After this adventure, participants will understand why the guides are passionate about snowmobiling and the enchanting allure of Lapland.

Single riding is highly recommended due to the nature and duration of the activity. This experience is not suitable for children under 140cm. Children over 140cm can join the tour as a passenger on the snowmobile, provided they pay the adult price.

This extended snowmobile tour is crafted for those eager to explore Lapland beyond the typical safari paths. By traversing trails favored by locals, the journey emphasizes the stunning landscapes, distance, and diversity. Led by a knowledgeable guide familiar with the area, the route is selected to highlight some of the region’s most beautiful and varied scenery, including open swamps, winding forest paths, and charming local villages.

With a relaxed pace, participants have ample time to build confidence on the snowmobile and enjoy a longer ride, experiencing much more than shorter safaris offer. Lunch and coffee breaks are held at local restaurants and cafés along the route, providing an opportunity to savor regional flavors. This activity is ideal for couples, groups of friends, families with older children, and solo adventurers seeking excitement.

• Meeting time: 30 minutes before the start of your safari. Please be on time, as refunds will not be issued for late arrivals or no shows.
• The driver of a snowmobile must be at least 18 years old and hold a valid B driver’s license. Customers intending to drive a snowmobile must bring their physical driving license with them on the tour. According to Finnish traffic regulations, copies, photographs or digital licenses cannot be accepted. If you do not bring your physical driving license you won’t be able to drive and no refund can be offered.
• Wild Nordic has 0 tolerance for alcohol and drugs during the activities.
• Snowmobile tours are not suitable for pregnant women due to vibrations as a result of uneven tracks, and the presence of exhaust fumes of the snowmobiles.
• The driver of the snowmobile is held liable for any damage caused to the snowmobile. The self liability amount for damage caused to the snowmobile is a flat rate of 900€. By purchasing an additional self liability waiver for 20€/driver you can reduce the self liability flat rate to 200€/driver/accident case.
• Wild Nordic reserves the right to change the route and duration of all excursions due to the prevailing weather and snow conditions or in consideration of the safety and comfort of the participants. Wild Nordic reserves the right to discontinue the tour if a participant is seen as a potential danger to him/herself or to others or is in poor health. Pre-paid safaris will not be refunded in such cases.
