Setting Sail to Nusa Penida

The sun was just beginning to rise over the horizon as I found myself on the shores of Bali, ready to embark on an adventure that promised both thrill and tranquility. The Nusa Penida Adventure had been on my radar for a while, and I finally decided to dive into its wonders. As a former professional surfer, the call of the ocean is something I can never resist, and the promise of snorkeling with manta rays was too enticing to pass up.

Upon arrival, we were greeted by Putu, another guide whose charm and fluency in Spanish added a personal touch to the experience. He ensured our transition to the snorkeling site was seamless, and soon enough, we were donning our gear and plunging into the crystal-clear waters of Manta Bay.

Putu’s knack for photography ensured we captured the essence of each spot, creating memories that would last a lifetime. As the day drew to a close, we made our way back to the pier, where Sugara awaited to guide us back to our hotel. The seamless coordination and genuine care from both guides made the entire experience feel like a breeze.
