Fantastic Snorkelling !! - We really enjoyed this trip to Nusa Penida! We were conveniently picked up from our accommodation in Sanur and taken to the harbor for speed boat transfer to the island. Once we arrived at the island, a friendly guide was waiting to take us to the snorkeling tour meeting point. As our group tour was during the off season, we had to wait for more participants to arrive to the island before starting (which pushed our start time back an hour) . However, this did not negatively impact our experience. At manta bay we were lucky enough to swim with two manta rays! One downside to our experience at manta bay though, was the proximity of the different tour boats to each other and the snorkelers - as we constantly had to be on the lookout to stay away from propellors and swinging hulls rather than looking down at the beautiful reefs. The next stop - Dolphin Bay - was the highlight of the trip as the coral reef was abundant with colorful schools of fish and the snorkeling conditions were calmer and less crowded with other boats. The tour guide was also a great photographer, and we are lucky to take away some great photos of us snorkeling! One recommendation we have for future tour participants is to be considerate of others by taking sea sickness tablets before the tour, as quite a few people on our boat got seasick, causing us to return to shore early and miss out on the final snorkeling location. After snorkeling we visited Broken Beach, Angel's Billabong and Kelingkling with a very friendly and helpful tour guide who also took some great photos of us at these locations. This part of the tour requires a reasonable level of fitness as there are many steep inclines, steps, and rocky areas to navigate. After sightseeing we had lunch and our guide took us back to the harbor and helped us with our boat tickets. Once we arrived back at Sanur harbor our driver was very prompt to take us safely back to our accommodation. We are also especially happy that he waited for us even though our return boat was delayed by heavy rains. His car was very clean and comfortable, and he was also knowledgeable about the surrounding area and recommended places to visit. All in all this tour was a great experience and we highly reccommend it to others!

Nice outing - Our driver Gede was terrific. The views were amazing with many instagram moments. Saw majestic manta rays. Lunch was simple and tasty.

A lovely day - We had such an amazing day! It was so handy having lovely local drivers and tour guides who took care of the ferry tickets and transport for us. Snorkelling was fantastic although we do wish we were at each stop for a little longer. The trip up to the restaurant and then to the beaches was a lovely scenic drive and the beaches were of course spectacular. A huge thankyou again to the taxi drivers which kept the day running smoothly

Great day trip - Amazing views and experience of the island. Snorkelling was by far the highlight, swum with dolphins, manta ray, turtles and sea snakes!! Lovely trip. Awesome driver too!!

Great day at Nusa - I went on a day trip with 4 of my girlfriends, it was great on the water snorkelling at different beaches,the views were amazing.

Great day trip with friendly people and great sights! - Overall we had a great time! Both our drivers were lovely and spoke very good English. We didn’t follow the itinerary however our driver was very upfront and explained everywhere we were going and still did everything just in a different order. We had a great time but it was a lot of travelling and not for anyone with a weak stomach. Due to weather we didn’t see many sea creatures but the instructor were amazing and tried their very best to give us a good time and we have amazing photos!! It is a lot of driving around the island and the roads are very bumpy and lots of hill. Both my Husband and I don’t get motion sickness but we were feeling ill by the end of it. Overall we still really enjoyed the day trip and the restaurant was beautiful with great food.

Not worthy, not satisfying absolutely not to recommend! - Unfortunately it was absolutely not satisfying tour. The schedule was completely different from description. We started with 2h snorkeling 10am in stormy wavy waters (2hour boatride, 20min snorkeling). Half of the boated tourists needed to vomit. The snorkeling provider was a very local place with old and broken equipment and no proper western toilet or shower. Then we went to the centre of Penida to a totally different restaurant. There was no seafood but a dirty, unfriendly and poor lunchmenu to choose. Even here toilet was an absolute mess. Kitchen full with fly and insects. Trip there took almost 1,5hours one way, so there was not much time to visit beach. Just one beach (Kelingking) we saw and AC in car was not working properly. Then arrived much too late at harbour. Just get the last boat at 6pm. This is no trip for tourists expecting any standards, quality or care. But then price is much too expensive! Only good thing was the drivers who are kind and friendly.

Nightmare! - Was a nightmare! The boat was the worst boat of all. Too many people inside a little boat that didn’t have enough space to seat and we had to hold our thing in our hands. In addition there was water everywhere, people vomiting and a got a problem in my back due to the impact of this boat on the water. The lunch was bad. Avoid this company. I ask Viator, who send the wrong link for me to change the tour and they haven’t solved the problem. Be careful when buying with Viator, they don’t undo their mistakes, and don’t help you at all to solve the problem.
