Excellent experience in Crete - Very nice trip with nice people. Everything was perfectly organized and trully personal approach. Dimitris was very friendly, he made everything for us. The personal Guide for Knossos trip was the Best choice ❤️❤️❤️

Perfect if you need flexibility and customization!!! Book this one! - This was one of many amazing tours we had while visiting Greece! This tour with George and his driver, John, stood out because of their flexibility and personal touches. From the moment I booked the tour, George was in touch with me to plan our itinerary. He asked me what I wanted to do and then added suggestions based on my interests. But beyond that, he and John went out of their way to accommodate us when our flight was delayed by over an hour and we had a rental car snafu (another story! ) Despite our tardiness, George monitored our flight, and John was waiting at the AIRPORT to pick us up for our tour! We went straight to a beautiful monestary that I had asked to visit. It was stunningly beautiful and peaceful. John, an excellent photographer, took pictures for us! We then went straight to a small, privately owned pottery maker who showed us how he created his lovely pottery. He even let us practice on the wheel! After purchasing some of his unique pieces, we took the Knossos Palace tour. (The palace tour itself was not one of my favorite tours-- especially after seeing the Athens Acropolis, Delphi, and Byzantine tour of Mystras, which I highly recommend! ) George, however, added intrigue to the tour with his own personal knowledge. Even after the tour, George remained in contact with us, sharing valuable tips about places to eat in Heraklion and Chania. He even sent me a written synopsis of our day that I can use for my scrapbook!! Many thanks to both George and John for making our first day in Crete smooth and memorable! 🤩

Kronos sis and Olive oil tour - We chose the Knossos site and olive oil tour for our only day in Hiraklion. George reach out out to us after booking to confirm time and pick up , he came directly to our hotel and picked us up; and while transferring to the archeological sight gave us great information not only in the site but some of the history while driving through the city. While he was not in the site with us his information answered many questions. He was very informative and so pleasant to be with answering all my questions. We enjoyed our tour and olive oil tasting and then were treated to a true Greek coffee experience in beautiful Archanes, where he sat and talk with us about history and travel. After he was kind to take our whole group and luggage to the bus station a true lifesaver! A great way to spend our only day in the area! Thanks George

Cretan countryside - Our family visited Heraklion while on a Greek isles cruise and we wanted a combination of history/culture and food, plus also we are traveling with teens/young adults and we wanted to engage them. Giorgio delivered a customized schedule that included a little bit of everything to make everyone happy! We started at the monastery with amazing views of the Cretan countryside, we continued with a pottery workshop where we had a demonstration from a local potter and we even try to make our own. We continued with a visit to an olive oil mill and olive oil tasting. Then we visited the Knossos palace and admired the beautiful paintings of the Minoans. We concluded the tour with a walk from the marina to the town where we had lunch at a beautiful Greek taverna with delicious typical dishes. If you are in Crete for a short time and want to make the most of it this trip is for you!

Half day tour of the Palace of Knossos and Heraklion - We had a wonderful experience. George, our tour guide, gave us general background on Crete, and then we had a licensed tour guide at the Palace of Knossos which was amazing. We then went to the archaeological museum (a must) and then walked through downtown Heraklion. Everything was convenient and was a great way to appreciate Crete/Heraklion when only spending a short time on the island.

Family-Friendly Crete Adventure with the Best Driver-Guide - We had a truly memorable day exploring Crete with George, our outstanding driver and guide. From start to finish, George was professional, kind, and incredibly knowledgeable—he made the experience feel both effortless and enriching. Our day began at the Palace of Knossos, where we explored the ancient Minoan ruins on our own. George provided helpful context and tips before we entered, which helped us better appreciate the site’s incredible history. From there, we visited the Kleanthi Olive Mill, where we learned about Crete’s renowned olive oil production. The tasting was delicious, and it was fascinating to see how this “liquid gold” is crafted. Driving through the countryside surrounded by endless olive groves gave us a real appreciation for this part of Cretan culture. In the village of Archanes, we slowed down and enjoyed traditional Greek coffee at a local kafeneio. George introduced us to the charming custom of reading coffee grounds, adding a fun and personal touch to the experience. One of the highlights for our family was the visit to Thrapsano, where the children got to try their hand at pottery-making with local artisans. It was a hands-on, creative experience they won’t soon forget. We ended the day at the serene Agkarathos Monastery—a quiet, beautiful spot that gave us time to reflect and soak in the peaceful atmosphere before returning to the ship. Thank you, George, for such a thoughtful and well-paced tour. Your insight, hospitality, and genuine love for Crete made this a day we will always remember.

recommended - George is super friendly, sweet and knowledgeable. He is sweet, flexible and genuinely wants you to have a good and fun time. My family was well taken care of and everyone is happy. It was definitely a sweet experience and if we had more time then we would've definitely chosen 6 hours instead of 4. I definitely recommend this experience whether you're going with your family or friends. George knows lots of good recommendations and spots, so it was definitely worth the money!
