Hop on Hop Off bus trip - a friendly experience! - We had a lovely couple of days exploring Heraklion and Ammoudoura Beach on this tour - and we found everyone extremely helpful. A special mention must go to representative Jackie, who checked in with us and made sure we knew where to be and at what time. She was exceptionally helpful and so friendly! A super trip around the sights of Heraklion!💫

Great tour - Great tour passing on all the interesting places of Heraklion. I forgot my wallet when I bought the tickets and I found it back 3 hours later due the honesty, kindness and helpfulness of the staff. I strongly recommend this tour

A great way to see the must see places in Heraklion - If you’re looking for a Birds Eye view of Heraklion this is a great opportunity to see the must see places in Heraklion Heraklion centre is a steep walk up from the port so taking the bus is a great option

It doesn't get any worse - We would advise against it and although the audio possibilities in this bus were not possible and the bus was not clean either. In addition to this, the bus driver also hit a palm tree with the bus . He tried to apologize to us in bad English. Never again especially people with children like us.

DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!! - DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!! I would give this zero stars if I could. This “tour” was basically a public bus transportation with poor organization. The “stops” to hop on/hop off were dismal and run down, besides, there was nothing much to actually see besides trash and graffiti. The one stop of any importance (Knossos Palace) was CLOSED, although the bus still drove us out there and allowed us to get off without telling us that it was closed, so we had to wait in the sun for 30 minutes for the next bus. The audio system (which you can listen to optionally through headphones) was crackling and hard to understand, in any language. The bus drivers were rude and treated passengers like a nuisance. The other staff at each stop were much of the same, they were very rude and treated all passengers that asked questions as if they were stupid. Our ticket covered “two lines” (red which did a circle around the city and the blue which went “to the beach”). We waited over an hour in the sun for the blue line bus, which was without a doubt a bigger rip off and waste of time than the red line bus. It drove through what appeared to be mostly impoverished residential communities with 4 stops that NO ONE ON OUR FULL DOUBLE DECKER BUS FELT SAFE ENOUGH TO HOP OFF AT. That should tell you everything you need to know. This tour was incredibly disappointing but I have to say, Crete was the ultimate disappointment.

Product needs work to be desirable. - Wifi did not work. Volume for headset audio was extremely low. Seats were very uncomfortable. Not much legroom . They should have the audio available online so you can use your own earbuds connected through your cellphone to the online audio. You pick the stop you’re at and the online audio gives you the talk. Very simple.

Waste of money - Worst hoho bus trip ever… Travelled around the outskirts of the city, nothing much to see until you go out to Knossos. Was told trip was 1 1/2 hours ….. lucky if it was an hour….. We paid €20 each Total waste of money…. The town centre on a brighter note was great for shopping Feeling very disappointed
