Must Book with V Marine! - We had An amazing experience! Must book with V. Marine! P and the tour team were prompt, well prepared, and informative. We were surprised at how nice the breakfast and lunch was and the delicious food. The tour team was extremely attentive and strived to accommodate us from snacks, drinks, and dedicated their full focus on our safety and happiness. They paid close attention every detail and informed of any dangers such as where not to
Snorkel and the bumpiness of the speedboat.
Thank you V Marine for such a beautiful experience!

Sunrise tour via phi phi - family of 5 went to this sunrise trip, max 25 on the boat.
stopped by few times on our trip for snorkeling, seeing monkeys, sunrise, lunch and etc.
great trip, nice people and one of the thing you should do is get the photographer who is on board to take pictures of you and your family ( in the sea with the fish etc) .
Nice people and a great half day trip

Great trip, highly recommend. - We did this trip with our two teenage daughters. We were the only four people in the very well appointed mini bus that picked us from Kata to take us to the Marina. We opted to pay for the photos taken by a photographer throughout the day. It was certainly worth it.
The first stop for breakfast at Khai Island as the sun came up was great. The food supplied was very good, especially the sticky rice with custard, served in a leaf.
All three snorkelling stops were good, including the off the beach at Bamboo Island. The food for lunch at Phi Phi Natural Resort was very good & there was plenty of it.
It’s a decent sized boat with 3x 250hp engines, more than enough for a comfortable trip. Sea sickness tablets were supplied, however, it was very smooth the day we travelled & they were not needed.
This trip is certainly worth getting up early for to avoid the crowds.

One of the most memorable days of your life - My friend and I found this tour on Viator.com, after combing through a lot of reviews and descriptions this was the one out of several Phi Phi island boat tours available that we chose and we struck gold with this tour! We were picked up from our condo in Cape Panwa in the wee hours of the morning and brought to the marina. We were given refreshments while waiting for the tour to start and we were all offered the opportunity to have a photographer follow us around for the tour to get pictures of the sights as well as our day enjoying ourselves. We took them up on the photographer and were so glad we did! I tend to be a person who gets so caught up in the moment that I forget to take pictures so having a talented, sweet individual who took care of that for us was the cherry on top of this wonderful day. The boat had plenty of space, the crew was so kind, helpful, and fun to be around. We watched the sun come up on Khai island where they prepared breakfast for us and we had the island to ourselves (minus the cats haha). It was the best way to spend the morning. The speed of the boat made for a fun ride from island to island. We beat most other tour groups in the morning for swimming and snorkeling. We were provided snacks and beverages all day, never deprived of refreshments at all. We ended the tour with a buffet lunch on Phi Phi Don (pretty sure that was the one) and they didn't have much for a vegetarian to eat but I'm used to that happening over the years, I put together enough to be full. One review I remember was complaining about the presence of cats at the resort where lunch was served, I'd just like to say in response to that, that's Thailand, the random appearance of cats and dogs is quite common. They're not up by the food at all and they should just be respected as being a part of our world, and especially a part of the wonderful part of the world that is Thailand. This tour was one of the absolute highlights of our trip and I could not have been happier with our decision to choose this tour. Please choose this (and hire the photographer), you will be so grateful that you did.

Great tour, great service! - After being on another tour I realized how great the service this tour provides. Early pick up from hotel to marina where coffee was offered as well as a towel for the tour. We hired the photographer they offer to capture shots we might miss, I think it was 1200B. Boat had about 25 people so not overcrowded. First stop was to a small island for breakfast......This was AMAZING. We were the only ones on the island watching the sunrise while being served a delicious meal. I think this was our favourite part. ( BTW the island has several stray cats running about in case your allergic). From there we went to Bamboo Island which was basically deserted and did some snorkelling. Last time I had been there there were hundreds of people so this was WAY better. From there, Maya Bay ( which is still closed to public) more snorkelling, Monkey Beach , and to a part of Phi Phi Island where we had a buffet lunch. Lunch was very delicious. Then the hour ride back to Phuket. All the while they provided continous water, soda, and cookies.... as well as fruit. Snorkels are provided as well. Staff was very attentive, and super friendly. After arriving back at the marina we were offered ice cream and a ride back to our hotel. It was a great day.....only disappointment was that we were not able to go onto Monkey Beach. But it is small in comparison and I still feel this is a top notch tour company. We would book again. Thank you so much!

So much fun! - We ended up on a later excursion due to the storm the night before. Company contacted us and offered the option and a refund of the difference. Beautiful beaches and good snorkeling.

Absolute must see tour in Thailand - We went to Phi Phi and did the snorkelling tour with Sunny, Sun and Am. We had a fantastic day with amazing views and weather. The crew were brilliant, Sunny was an excellent tour guide and provided some laughter during the trip. Many thanks to the crew for a brilliant day, even with the choppy seas coming home, they handled it brilliantly. Sun is a very experienced driver, I was amazed when he reverse parked in between two boats and then expertly drove us back through the rough seas!

Nice locations and good amount of time - We chose V Marine Tour because they came well reviewed. They were a little more expensive than some others that we looked at but we thought it would be worth it to go with a better reviewed company.
Things we liked about the tour:
- Pick up was efficient and on time, with only one stop on the way to the marina.
- The boat was really nice and we had a fairly small group which made the trip feel better.
- The first island where we we watched the sunrise, Khai Nai, was lovely because we had the whole place to ourselves to explore. Very relaxing!
- Jumping into the water at the lagoon was so much fun!
- We were able to go snorkelling which we really enjoy, though there was not a huge amount to see.
- It was good to see Monkey Beach, and I appreciated that the boat didn't get far enough to actually go onto the beach. I feel sorry for the monkeys who are just gawked at all day so it was nice to appreciate them from a-far.
- Lunch was a good opportunity to get a respite and relax off the sea - sometimes being on a boat for a long time takes it's toll!
- I loved Bamboo Island - such clear water and beautiful sand. It was busier than any pictures online make out but I expected that. The only downside was that the sun was very strong and there was no shade to shelter under!
- Lots of refreshments were provided over the course of the morning, and the fruit was freshly prepared and delicious!
- The tour didn't 'feel' long - we only had the morning but that was definitely enough, we were exhausted by the end of it so I would wonder how I would feel after a whole day. I would say that this tour felt the exact right amount of time.
Not so good:
- Khai Nai was pretty but sadly it was incredibly full of people's rubbish from the day before. I tried to do my bit by picking some trash up but only had a small carrier bag which was quickly filled. Obviously this is not the fault necessarily of V Marine but the island could definitely do with a good clear up operation to make it even better.
- Viking cave was not particularly interesting, for me at least. The boat just stopped about 15 meters away and some pictures are shown because it's now privately owned. I just didn't see a lot of benefit for stopping for this but maybe that's just me!
- There was a Japanese group on our trip so an extra Japanese-speaking guide was provided which is great, but I did feel like she was giving a lot more detailed information than our English speaking guide was giving to us, as his descriptions where always really brief.
- As above, snorkelling was fun and I enjoyed that element of the morning, but the places we stopped there wasn't really a huge amount going on - lots of the same fishes. So I think the tour could perhaps visit snorkelling spots a bit further out from the shore to provide a bit of variety to those who snorkelling was a top priority on the trip.
- There were not too many vegetarian options at lunch, but I wasn't that hungry anyway so had enough to fill me up.
- The shuttle back felt a lot longer than the way there but there's not a lot of control they have over that really (i.e. traffic etc)
- The tour was more expensive than a lot of others that we had initially looked at and having now been on the tour I am unsure if there was a lot that was different about it to make it good value for money.

Great tour - We initially booked on a day tour but they canceled on us last minute and offered us the sunrise tour.
It’s fine, we had to wake up 4am to be picked up at 4:45.
The taxi was very on time but unfortunately for us we were the first group and they had to pick up 7 more people which took an hour before we get to marina.
We finally got there and they gave us towels and offered us coffee. The towels were a bit smelly and old.
We got on the boat which was very clean and tidy, lovely crew greeted us and straight away we are on our way to the first island to watch the sunrise and have breakfast.
The island was ok, nothing special about it. Full of cats which were friendly.
Breakfast wasn’t that nice, in fact all the pastries were very stale and old. Fruits were fine.
They offered coffee, tea and juice too.
After an hour we went to the second island where we jumped in the water and snorkeled.
It was great to see all sorts of colourful fishes but sad to see the status of those coral reefs.
It wasn’t the best snorkeling I’ve ever done but ok.
Then we went to a lagoon which we jumped of the boat into the water and swam a bit. People of the boat made it fun with jumping in the water, again nothing special.
Off to phi phi don which they gave us lunch at 10:30am 😳😳
Lunch was buffet and everyone found something to eat but it wasn’t that great at all.
Then we went to see monkeys which we could only see one.
Then to our last stop for swimming and snorkeling, it was awful at first as there were too many people around and there were no fish whatsoever but then we swam further away to the middle to see fish and more dead coral reefs.
Water, drinks and fruits were served to us all day and they really looked after us in that regard, there was fresh water at the back to have a quick shower. They gave us cold towels to cool us down which was very thoughtful
The crew were very nice.

5 star trip 2 star management - To begin with I do really love the trip, don't get me wrong. But there are many things that happened doesn't allow me to give it a 5 star.
1. We were not given a very specific time on when to wait for the ride to the port.. we were told an estimate range of half hour ... e.g 5 - 5.30 am which i believe is the cause of the disappointment of the while trip
2. When we arrived, we were the first one at the port with the friendly staffs. But we waited about an hour ish for the rest of the group (which I don't know why, there is no cut off time to depart).
We paid money too.. if others are late, it's not really our problem. And it is not fair for us to miss the sunrise just because others are late to the port
3. One "Engine" decides to fail when we are half way to the 1st island (20 minutes away)... and we were stranded in the island for an hour plus (there is no back up boat captain on standby to bring a new yatch over.... until like 1 hour plus later... everyone is unhappy)
4. We were running late.. the visit to the islands was a rush.
Imagine this...
A. we started from the port 1 hour late
B. We are stranded in Khai island for 1 hour...
And yet we reach back to phuket ON TIME
How rush can this trip be?
Make it even worst... the crew reshuffled the visits to the island last minute due to our late schedule (in the itinerary we are supposed to end the trip at bamboo island)
But we head to bamboo island first and came back straight from Phi Phi don, which is much more further away and it's 1 hour speed boat ride on a very bumpy sea on our way home straight after lunch (waves are average about 3 meters for at least 20 minutes of the ride)
Overall staff provide excellent service ( every one from the reception, the guide "sunny", captain and boatboy... all deserve a 5 star )
The island selection...another 5 syar
However the trip only deserves a 2 star
.. the company should immediately look into
1. Checking their boat engines on a more frequent basis
2. Set a hard cut off time for everyone to wait at the hotel lobby and transport to leave if they are not at the lobby on time.. (get them to pay earlier, they will surely arrive on time)
In a summary
5 star for the service
2 star for the poor management
