10/10 - I think this activity is really a must if you are going to Koh Samui. We had a private tour, snorkeling + visit to the Isle of Pigs. I loved it!

Come for the pigs, not the snorkeling - I absolutely loved spending a few hours with the pigs, they are so cute! The lunch was yummy (but be prepared to fight off many flies). I wouldn't have high hopes for the snorkelling- the water was murky and there was high coral that could scratch you, that combo made me feel uncomfortable doing that part. As long as you come for the pigs you'll have a good time though! I still recommend.

Pig Island Koh Samui - Naphat Tour Koh Samui - Half Day Snorkelling Itinerary.
We booked this trip mainly for the visit to Pig Island.
We were taken to Rap Island for snorkelling, kayaking and paddle boarding. All equipment is provided within the price. The island has a bar but nothing else. Waters were too shallow for swimming or snorkelling and you were left here for 2 hours.
Lunch was provided on Rap Island which was really tasty and plentiful.
We then arrived at Pig Island and given around 30-40 minutes to see the pigs. You can provide feed for around 50 baht and water for around 20 baht. The pigs will take water from you and you’re given a little plate for the pellets. The younger pigs are very cute but the bigger ones will literally dig their teeth into a water bottle to take it from you, so if with children keep to the smaller pigs.
The beach is lovely on Pig Island and water clean.
We were then take to another snorkelling area in deep waters, you can jump off the front of the boat and ladders on the back to get back in.
There is no coral and just a few fish to be seen. Again, mask and snorkel provided and they were immaculately clean.
Overall a good day but could be shorter without being left on the beach for 2 hours. Food was amazing.

Pig Island & Snorkel - Disappointing and unhygienic. The pigs do their thing on the same beach where you walk barefoot or flip-flops. They take bottles of water and walk between the eateries. This is at odds with how the excursion is sold – it is suggested that the animals are separated, but they are not.
In addition, you spend unnecessary time on the island, while snorkeling is chaotic and poorly regulated. You only get 45 minutes in murky water where the crowds of providers hardly see anything.
The staff is not friendly, but helpful. This makes the experience a little more bearable, but does not change the poor organization and unsanitary conditions.
If snorkeling trip absolutely not recommended, and Pig Island is only suitable for those who do not have trouble with a dirty, unhygienic environment. For me it is certainly not worth repeating.

TERRIBLE NEVER AGAIN WARNING - SCAM SCAM SCAM **SCAM ALERT!** Terrible experience! They crammed us like sardines—60+ (I’m NOT exaggerating) on this tiny boat, just to dump us into the most pathetic snorkeling spot you can imagine. Then, as if it couldn't get worse, they dragged us to this sad little island where the so-called "pigs" look like they’ve been inbred for generations. It’s a complete tourist trap. The food? I'd rather eat my shoe. We were so desperate to escape this poo-covered nightmare that we actually paid to get off the island early. And guess what? They keep you stranded there until after 6:30 PM! Three excruciating hours of your life that you'll never get back. Avoid at all costs unless you enjoy wasting your time and money on a steaming pile of disappointment!

Not safe or worth it! - This excursion should have been cancelled for safety reasons. The first boat trip was terrifying, and all the passengers thought we would flip. They call this a snorkeling trip, yet do not even provide fins (flippers). In the afternoon trip the sea is too low to snorkel without kicking the coral. Pig Island is a gross tourist trap. There is feces everywhere. Including mouse’s feces in the food brought to me. The boat trip back was also scary. One of the men helping to get out boat out from pig island even said the me “don’t worry about me, worry about you”. I was so concerned we would flip in the wind going back. The guide ignored us the entire time. The way too and from the boat from the “pier” is steep and unsafe. Do not go on this tour.
