Your initial certification is only the beginning of your learning journey! This course is designed to give you the requisite knowledge and abilities to plan and conduct a dive up to 18 meters in depth alongside a certified buddy, all in a performance-based structure.

Day 1 - Academics + Diving

Get acquainted with your instructor and classmates, and kick-start your educational sessions. Take a short lunch break before engaging in your first skill-building session in confined water in the afternoon.

Day 2 - Academics + Diving Skills

Continue with your education session in the morning, then set off for your afternoon boat ride to perform your confined water training dives 1 and 2. These dives, conducted at 2 different dive sites around Koh Tao, will each take you to a maximum depth of 12 meters.

Day 3 - Diving + Exam

On this day, you will embark on 2 dives of up to 18 meters, the maximum depth permissible for an open water diver. With some of the finest diving sites around Koh Tao available to you, this day is purely for pleasure diving, no training, no drills, just diving! Upon your return from your final 2 dives, you will sit for the final exam at the academy!
