Day 1: Arrival in Cochin

Kochi (Cochin) - Welcome to Kochi! Upon your arrival at Cochin Airport, our team will accompany you to your hotel. After refreshing, prepare to explore the city’s iconic landmarks with an English-speaking guide.

Your sightseeing journey begins with a scenic drive across Cochin Harbor. Immerse yourself in the city’s rich cultural heritage by visiting the Jewish Synagogue, Chinese Fishing Nets, Dutch Palace, and St. Francis Church - India’s oldest European church.

After a delightful day of sightseeing, return to your hotel for a delicious dinner and a relaxing overnight stay.

Day 2: Cochin to Munnar

Munnar - After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to Munnar. Munnar is located at the confluence of three rivers, as its name suggests. The expansive tea plantations and picturesque towns make Munnar a popular hill resort town in South India. In the afternoon, enjoy trekking in Munnar. Spend the evening at leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Sightseeing: - En route, visit Cheyyara Waterfalls, Valara Waterfalls, and Spice Plantations.

Day 3: Munnar Tour

Munnar - Today will be a busy day, starting with trekking to Laxmi Hills. After lunch, continue your tour by exploring Old Munnar Town and the market. Finally, enjoy an overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 4: Munnar to Thekkady

Thekkady - After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to Thekkady. Thekkady boasts one of the world’s most fascinating natural wildlife reserves, known for its geography, diverse wildlife, and scenic beauty. Arrive at Thekkady and check in at the hotel. Spend the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 5: Thekkady to Kumarakom

Kumarakom - In the morning, enjoy a boat ride on Lake Periyar, where you can experience viewing wildlife up close from the safety of a boat on the lake. The greatest attraction of Periyar is the herds of wild elephants that come down to play in the lake (wildlife viewing is always dependent on one’s good fortune).

Sightseeing: - Visit Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary, where you can see wild elephants, boars, deer, the great Indian tiger, and more. Take a spice plantations tour where you can shop for exotic spices.

Later, proceed to Alleppey. Upon arrival, check into the hotel. Spend the day with local sightseeing in and around Alleppey - a charming backwater hamlet perched on the western banks of Vembanad Lake. The stretch of backwater covers over 900 sq. km. Choose a canoe, motorboat, or houseboat and savor the beauty of this backwater paradise at its best. An overnight stay is arranged in Kumarakom/Alleppey. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 6: Kumarakom/Alleppey to Houseboat

Alleppey Backwaters - Enjoy breakfast at the hotel and check out. In the morning, leave for Alleppey to enjoy a boat cruise tour in an Alleppey Houseboat. Spend the rest of the day at leisure on the houseboat, which is a major tourist attraction worldwide. Sit back and relax as the boat cruises through the narrow, serene backwater canals of Alleppey. Experience the vibrant green of the village slumbering by Vembanad Lake. On the cruise, the scenery offers vivid contrasts of lush green and deep blues. As the boat glides along the gorgeous green of the fringed palms, the ripples in the blue water blend into little wavelets. Lunch, evening tea/coffee with snacks, and dinner are all provided on the houseboat. Overnight stay will be on the houseboat.

Day 7: Houseboat to Cochin

Kochi (Cochin) - In the morning, after breakfast, disembark from the houseboat and travel to Cochin. Complete the check-in formalities upon arrival. In the first phase, you explored the monumental attractions of the city; the second phase is dedicated to exploring the famous markets of Cochin (Kochi). Afterward, shop for unique handicrafts and silk clothes. Finally, spend the evening at leisure. Overnight stay.

Day 8: Departure

Cochin International Airport - Today marks the last day of your journey. You will receive a timely transfer to Cochin Airport for your onward destination. Take back beautiful memories and leave behind any grievances to embrace a new beginning.
