Arrival in Cochin

Upon arrival in Cochin, meet the chauffeur waiting outside the airport for a transfer to the hotel. After settling in, embark on a sightseeing tour.

Mattancherry Palace - Known as the Dutch Palace, this Portuguese palace showcases Kerala murals, portraits, and exhibits of the Rajas of Kochi. It is listed as a tentative UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Paradesi Synagogue - Located in Kochi, Kerala, this is the oldest active synagogue in the Commonwealth of Nations. Built in 1568, it is one of the seven synagogues of the Malabar Yehudan or Cochin Jewish community.

Chinese Fishing Nets - These iconic nets, introduced by the Chinese explorer Zheng He over 500 years ago, are a must-see in Fort Kochi. The Vasco da Gama Square offers the best view of these impressive structures.

Church of Saint Francis - Situated in Fort Kochi, this church, built in 1503, is one of India’s oldest European churches. It holds historical significance as Vasco da Gama was initially buried here before his remains were moved to Lisbon.

Morning Drive to Alleppey (1.5-hour drive)

Upon arrival, board a houseboat.

Alleppey Backwaters - Enjoy a day cruising the backwaters, docking at sunset. Spend the night on board, with the opportunity to catch fish and have the chef prepare your meal.

Disembark at 8:00 am

Drive back to Cochin airport to board a flight for the onward journey.
