A winner - could not have been better - The bike tour of the hills above Škofja Loka was delightful. Greenhills carefully planned the route. The bike, an e-mountain bike, matched the roads, which were a mix of gravel roads, dirt roads and paved roads. The views were spectacular. I can’t say enough good things about my guide Urša, who managed the tour solo. She also runs the family business of Greenhills along with her husband. (I opted for the private tour so I could set the pace and this worked out very well). They live nearby and they really know the area. We biked about 43km in around three hours. It was especially nice that, on a weekday morning in mid-May, very few bikes and very few cars were on the roads and trails. On comparable tours I’ve taken in picturesque spots in Italy, France and Spain, that was definitely not the case. The value for money was very good, especially for the private tour. It was not hard to find the train station in Ljubljana for the short and inexpensive journey to Škofja Loka. Urša kept up a pleasant stream of conversation for the duration of the ride. She provided a water bottle and helmet . She picked me up at the train station and took me to a local supermarket where I picked up a tasty lunch before the ride. She then brought me back to the station when the tour was done. If I wanted to go biking in Slovenia again, I would do this tour, or another one, with Greenhills in a heartbeat. It could not have been better.

EBike in Slovenia - We had an absolutely amazing time! The guides were fantastic, very friendly and they led such a fun tour. The views were stunning as well. Definitely recommend adding this to your trip itinerary if you haven’t already.

Amazing E-Bike cycling tour. Recommended !! - Ursa and Jenej are the best and provided an incredible cycling tour. We, a group of 16 friends, came to Slovenia for five days of cycling and one day of a relaxing trip. All the arrangements made by Ursa and Jenej were perfect, including transportation, a great hotel, E-bikes, surprises and more. Everything was managed in a most pleasant, friendly, and calm manner, which greatly contributed to the success and enjoyment of the trip. Their expertise and knowledge of the Slovenian landscapes provided us with an experience that went beyond just cycling. The routes they chose were great and showed the beauty of Slovenia. A perfect day - A perfect day! We had a great time. The tour was fantastic, the views were unforgettable, and the lunch was lovely. They have high quality e-bikes that make the ride enjoyable (and easy enough). I highly recommend it!

Best way to explore Slovenia - We spent 3 days cycling with Jerry of Greenhills in 3 different parts of Slovenia. We loved it all - great landscapes, experienced guide, challenging but do-able duration, very good bikes, good mix of progress vs relaxation/breaks etc. It also allowed us a bit of an insight into Slovenian culture, cuisine and wines... :-)

Beautiful experience I highly recommend! - This e-bike tour is easily my favorite memory from my time in Slovenia. Greenhills is a family owned business that radiates its core beliefs. Urša was an amazing guide- friendly, outgoing, and fun, and I had such a great time exploring the stunning landscape thanks to amazing weather! She ensured I had adequate gear, that my bike fit properly and kept us safe on the roads throughout the tour. There were moments for photo stops, dog pets, water breaks and a couple stops at a local butcher and dairy shop. I was so pleasantly surprised by this tour and loved going for a ride with Urša who effortlessly shared her authentic Slovenia with me. Until next time!

Tour the Alps with Awesome Ursa! - Ursa was a wonderful guide. She insured we kept up with a ride, made certain we were comfortable and took joy and pointing out all of the mountain peaks that were crystal clear visible on a beautiful day. We stopped about halfway through our trip and a lovely village cafe and had a charcuterie board for lunch. Stopped off and saw where they made charcoal the old-fashioned way and then sped down the mountain. All during the trip she took short videos for us to remember our time. We finished the ride at her home where she and her partner made us Turkish coffee, told us about the holidays going on at the time and introduced us to her dog. If you wanted an awesome e-bike tour in the Alpine mountains, you can’t do any better than this.

Day ride - We had the best day out with Ursa in the mountains surrounding Sofka Loka. Ursa put this together at short notice and took care of our every need. Bikes were excellent and the scenery was straight out of a post card set. Cannot recommend highly enough. Wonderful. Michael and Helen.
