Experience the most incredible cycling tour in Montenegro, showcasing the unique views of Kotor. The tour begins with a car transfer up a serpentine road, constructed in the 19th century by the Austrians. This 25km road features 25 curves, offering breathtaking views of Kotor Bay, and takes approximately 45 minutes to reach the starting point at the village of Njegusi. Nestled below Lovcen Mountain at 900 meters above sea level, Njegusi is the birthplace of Montenegro’s esteemed ruler, Njegos II.
Cycling through the village provides insight into the traditional lifestyle of its inhabitants. A gentle 2km uphill ride leads to the Krstac pass, where participants can enjoy a 400-meter-long zipline. Following this, a coffee break at the Horizont restaurant offers the chance to savor the most stunning views imaginable. After the break, the tour continues with a 1.5-hour downhill cycling adventure. Capturing incredible photos from each curve, each offering a unique perspective, ensures this journey is truly unforgettable.
Please note that this is a regular road also used by cars, so exercise caution.
