Easy going - A nice experience, the village in the mountains was very rural but pretty. It would have been better if more time was given in the orher village as once you've seen monastery and had lunch there's no time to browse shops.

Would miss, doesn’t do everything that is listed in the tour description - Trip was ok but not as expected, firstly got to say the lady who was our tour guide was lovely though We want to some waterfalls which was a waste of time and to crowded However the biggest thing for us was there was no hallouimi tasting and my son loves it, so this is why we chose this your over another one, we were advised to to go to a tavern who would give us some but didn’t so ended up having to buy some for my son which cost €16, where it’s in the your description as free, this was very disappointing

TAKEN INTO WILDFIRES INSTEAD OF CANCELLING - TOLD OUR TICKETS WILL BE DONATED TO HELP FAMILIES WITH WILDFIRES. To be clear I have no issue with my ticket being donated. I just sincerely hope that they do. I do howere have an issue with taking us a tour whilst people are still actively coming to terms with loosing there homes (which we could see burning while trying to get out of Omodos area) and actively battling these fires. Very insensitive, would much rather they canceled and kept my money to donate. I'm writing a review based on my experience today on the 24/07/25. We booked this last night not actually knowing about the wildfires that had been happening on that day (23rd). Shortly after the booking had been confirmed charged ect a message was sent through telling us there was a change to the intinary due to wild fires ect we would no longer go up the troodos, with no option of cancelling as it was under the 24 hours. With us putting faith in the tour provider thinking they wouldn't take us anywhere that may be unsafe we decided to go anyway. I done a small bit of research checking where the wildfire was shown on Google maps and the substitute town we were told we would stop Lania. It was considerable distance away from where the fire was shown. As the morning progressed it was eminent the extent of these fires, first coffee stop seen us watching military helicopters flying over with water attempting to extinguish the fires. We then carried on up the mountain getting closer and closer to these fires. We stopped at a town for a photo stop, I forgot its name but there was nothing to see due to smoke. The ashe could be seen falling in the air. Then we stopped at the winery for wine tasting. This was exellent, but also seemed close to where the fires had broke out. Everyone pretending everything was ok, but the smell of smoke was obvious and as soon as our tour boarded it looked like the workers were leaving the place also. The worst bit was the tour proceeded to take us into a town called Omodos which was not far from these fires at all. The town itself is lovely of what we got to see, the issue was not the town but the tour operators attitude to this situation. We had lunch with a continual noise of sirens, everyone could sence the uneasy atmosphere. We were now in a situation were a wildfire infront of us and a fire behind us. The stop for lunch was cut short, for obvious reasons. These fires were both in full swing long before we arrived at the town, actually even being pointed out to us by the guide. We were then driven up hills passing through active zones of fire that fire fighters were still attempting to contain, with locals looking on or trying to help. This felt extermely insensitive to me. Some passengers were so overwhelmed by the situation they broke down to tears. This trip should never have went ahead in my opinion, not just for safety but for respect to the people that are going through a traumatic time with what has come with these wildfires.
