Salisbury Road
Wait by the shore in front of Starbucks / Wildfire Pizzabar, Avenue of Stars. The Pier is right outside these 2 restaurants where you find a flight of stairs leading down to the sea. Do NOT head to the pier near the Star Ferry and the Hong Kong Cultural Centre. Dukling does NOT dock at that pier.

Dukling, old in the new - Taking a sunset harbor tour on the Dukling, Hong Kong’s oldest Chinese junk boat, is a truly memorable experience. As the boat sails slowly around Victoria Harbour, you can admire breathtaking panoramic views of Hong Kong’s skyline bathed in the warm hues of sunset. The changing colors reflecting on the water and the city’s iconic skyscrapers create a magical and serene setting that is perfect for photography. Onboard, you are welcomed with a complimentary drink. What makes the Dukling tour special is the rich historical part provided during the cruise. You learn about Hong Kong’s maritime heritage and the traditional fishermen culture that shaped the city’s past. It’s highly recommended for visitors seeking an authentic and peaceful harbor experience during the golden hour.

Relaxing and unique way to watch the sunset on Victoria Harbor - It’s a short but very pleasant journey around Victoria Harbor. The guide gives an interesting historical and informative explanation of the area and the boat The Dunkling. It’s my second time doing this sunset tour and I’ll likely do it again. It’s a very relaxing no rush way to watch the sunset from a unique vantage about the beautiful, historical craft. Bonus points since it was the 70th anniversary of the boat. And since I was a repeat visitor, the crew gave me a nice thoughtful gift and a card for coming back. It was a thoughtful and very nice touch to the experience. Thank you Team Dunkling! I’m definitely a fan!

Amazing to watch the Symphony of Lights from the water - The crew were very friendly and there was even a live guide explaining some of what we were seeing (we were expecting it to be a recording). They offered a free drink and checked in with us often. The area is a bit chaotic at the meeting point, but the instructions are correct and they responded right away when I contacted them to let them know we were there.

Recommended - The boat had the main sail down, but otherwise a nice, short tour. Without queuing like everyone else here.

Good trip! - A very enjoyable and comfortable ride through the harbor. It was a little difficult to locate the proper contact as there were a LOT of them on the dock.

Great evening cruise on the Dukling - We had a great evening on the Dukling. We chose the sunset cruise, which gave us a great view of the city in daylight and then as the city lights up into night. The directions on the pick up location were very clear and easy to find and the crew were friendly and helpful.

Good experience but a bit short - This was a highlight of our trip to Hong Kong and we enjoyed the experience. The boat arrived late due to other boats loading and unloading passengers. Our trip only lasted 35 minutes, which was disappointing. We wanted to purchase some of their luggage tags but we were just brushed off the boat as they were in a hurry to be done for the night.
