Night Hike & Ocean View on Mt. Bongnaesan
Join the group at Nampo Station (Exit 7) at 7:00 PM to explore the serene paths of Yeongdo’s Bongnaesan Mountain. Here, the city lights blend beautifully with the dark sea, offering an unforgettable night view.
The hike to the summit takes approximately 45 minutes, where participants can enjoy the stunning ocean vista. The journey continues to the Legendary Grandma Rock, a cherished local site where wishes are whispered beneath the stars.
A break will be taken to enjoy a traditional Korean hiking snack:
- In summer: a steaming cup of ramen and kimbap
- In winter: warm ready-made hot packs or meals
After enjoying snacks and conversation, the group will descend for about 30 minutes and return to Nampo Station by 9:30 PM, with a recommended drop-off at Exit 10.
Remember to bring a flashlight, and don’t forget:
- Summer: insect repellent
- Winter: hand warmers or a hot pack
