See 22 brick barracks, which were prison for hundreds of thousands of victims of the Holocaust. The most chilling is block number 11, the so-called prison within the prison. Block 11 contained special torture chambers including dark chambers or standing cells where various punishments were inflicted on prisoners. The first attempts to kill people with Zyklon B took place in this block. The only preserved crematorium and gas chamber is located at the end of the camp. After the visit to KL Auschwitz 1, travel in the minivan to KL Auschwitz 2 Birkenau. This part of the camp is 25 times larger than Auschwitz 1 and it was the largest of the death camps. Over 1,100,000 people were murdered here. Between 62 wooden barrack are the ruins of 4 crematoriums and gas chambers, which were destroyed by the Nazis in an effort to hide the evidence of their crimes.

Heart Touching Day Trip - Informative, historical makes us realize the sufferings of the Jews hard to imagine. Our tour guide was very good and knowledgeable.
However, the bus ride experience was not comfortable at all, when the aircon of our mini bus worked only for front seaters while the rest of passengers were sweating from heat. The 3 hours drive back and forth with sweating backs made many of us sick. Our whole vacation in Krakow was partly ruined when many of us got the coughing bug . Exhausted due to coughing bouts..

Unbelievable - The fact I messed up thinking transport was included sorted out by Micheal at 10pm the night before. Great service

To hell, and back - Very intense trip but the guide made it very Informative. You got to go in a number of the buildings which was pretty intense.

Auschwitz walking tour. Good but not so good. - Have done a lot of walking tours while travelling. I found these guys were really rushing to make it work. The tour guide Mary was excellent, passionate and knowledgeable about the events. Found the people organising this to be pretty abrupt and even uninterested in helping some members who had issues. All in all we our group thought it could have been better.

Not reccomending - We booked the tour and paid for it. While booking system showed 5 spots available, we booked 3. We started to move towards location and then got the message that they are canceling our booking. Totally ruined all the day plans. Unprofessional. Not recommending.

Very unreliable - Not reliable. We booked an English tour with guide and entrance via Auschwitz Tours which is part of polandisamazing.com or royal tours krakow and they cancelled less than 24 hrs before the trip. We had travelled for 3 days just to go to Auschwitz and it was too late to book another tour. So a lot of damage for us and they did nothing to help us. Didnot offer to look for another tour. nothing. Very unreliable!!!!

Very unprofessional and rude person that should never work there his name is Michal S - My wife booked a Auschwitz Birkenau tour last week, we received last minute notice switching our tour time from 12noon to 8am changing our travel arrangements completely, while on the phone with Michal S my wife was asking questions to arrange best option and since we had no choice but to accept the changes we decided to do so and keep the tour, but the representative Michal S at Royal Tours responded arrogantly to my wife, that now he will make the decision to keep our tour or not and hangup the phone.
This was Very rude unprofessional experience and this person should never work there perhaps let go from this position/job.

Complete Lack of Seriousness - I booked a tour with this company through Headout and less than 18 hours before the start of the tour, we received a whatsapp message saying our tour was rescheduled from 10:00 to 06:30.
We really saw this situation so unserious that we decided to cancel the tour and miss one of the tours that we were very interested in doing in our holidays in Krakow.
I would recommend choose another tour company, otherwise be prepared for changes, cancellations or miss the tour.
