- Panstwowe Muzeum Auschwitz-Birkenau - The tour begins by entering the gate of Auschwitz I, the first camp, originally established as a concentration camp for Polish citizens arrested after Germany annexed the country in 1939. You’ll walk under the notorious sign “Arbeit Macht Frei” (Work Makes You Free). This part of the tour typically lasts two hours, during which a headset is provided to ensure clear communication from the guide. The group size is limited to 30 people, in accordance with the Museum’s regulations, ensuring a comfortable and accessible experience for everyone. Explore the original wooden barracks, fortified walls, barbed wire fences, gas chambers, and crematoria, which together leave a haunting impression and help visitors understand the vast scale of the Holocaust.
- Panstwowe Muzeum Auschwitz-Birkenau - After visiting the first camp, there will be a short break of up to 15 minutes. Following this, the tour continues to Birkenau (Auschwitz II), located just 3 minutes away. Birkenau, the largest camp, was constructed and operated with the sole purpose of making Europe “Judenrein” (free of Jews). The guide will continue the powerful narrative at Birkenau, located in the village of Brzezinka. Built in 1941 under the orders of SS commander Heinrich Himmler, the camp could accommodate around 90,000 prisoners. You’ll hear harrowing accounts of the brutal living conditions, the cruel selection process, and the pseudo-scientific medical experiments conducted by Nazi doctors, including Josef Mengele. The tour concludes with the story of liberation when soldiers from the 60th Army of the First Ukrainian Front opened the gates of Auschwitz on January 27, 1945, leaving visitors with a profound understanding that such genocide should never have occurred—and must never happen again.
- Krakow - At the end of the tour, there is no rush. A short break is provided to rest. After another 1 hour and 15 minutes of travel, you will be returned to a designated address in Krakow.
After the tour, you may join the 1-hour Old Town Evening Walking Tour led by a Local Guide. Participation is complimentary.

- VISIT: Visitors are generally allowed to take pictures with a few, clearly indicated exceptions.
- VISIT: A visit to Auschwitz-Birkenau can prove traumatic, therefore we recommend that visitors were at least 13 years old.
- LUGGAGE: The maximum size of your carry-on can not exceed the following dimensions: 30 x 20 x 10 cm. You can leave your larger luggage in the car.
- DEPARTURE: Your pickup time might be changed and will be between 5:00 AM - 01:00 PM but we usually adjust it by only 30-60 minutes (sometimes a more significant change is necessary)
- DEPARTURE: If the above change is necessary then the start time will be different than the one presented on your voucher. In such case you will be informed via email and/or What’s App 12-24 hours before the amended start time
- MEALS: Lunch is not included. There’s no time for a regular meal between visits to Auschwitz and Birkenau, so bring a snack. A grocery shop, snack bar, and restaurant are NOT available on-site

A never forget experience - Really impressed with Krakow Direct for my trip to Auschwitz. Alone rather than with my wife due to fully booked at Easter and ourselves booking our trip to Krakow only days earlier. Driver Christof really friendly and courteous throughout the whole day. A credit to your company. Of course a very emotional day for anyone visiting. I feel uneasy saying this yet did feel (likely nothing to do with Krakow Direct) that the tour itinerary could have been impressed with more time spent at Birkenau inc showing visitors the wooden huts for example. Birkenau felt rushed somewhat. Yet Overall a day I shall never forget and glad booked with Krakow Direct.

Trip to Auschwitz - We had an amazing experience with Jerimia on our trip to Auschwitz . All on time excellent overall. We did leave at 5.50 am but this was well worth it . We got in with no queues tickets there waiting . Wouldn’t hesitate to book with them again it was a perfect experience

A very moving tour, it is... - A very moving tour, it is difficult to understand how this event took place and the cruelty shown to fellow human beings. Only warning be sure to double check pick up time as the Viator app is not always accurate.

Something you have to see for yourself - The tour was well organised, but take the pickup time as just a rough guide. Ours moved by 2 hrs. The tour itself was as expected. Lots of walking and very informative guides. Nothing can prepare you for the scale of the evil machine the nazis created. Our driver Jacob was nice and helpful. Well recommended company to go with

A must visit place - We booked a tour to austwitz through trip advisor. I've never done that before, but it was a very easy process and one that we will certainly use again. The tour operator was krakow direct tours for a 11am pick up at our hotel but this was put back to 1 o'clock they say this is due to the museum schedule but I feel it might be more to do with the tour operator making groups of 30 people. I have to say from the start that the lack of communication and accessibility from this tour operator is very poor . We had no contact from the tour operator to confirm the booking details until 4.30pm the day before, and only then after we contacted them because we began to wonder if the tour was even scheduled . They did not respond to our emails or messages, and the phone number on the booking platform does not exist, We did, however, find a number from their website, and they confirmed the tour details. The booking also included an evening tour of the old town but never happened, With the problems we had with communication we were expecting the worst however, the transport arrived on time and was a very modern and stylish minibus and this made us more comfortable. Our driver was excellent and looked after us throughout the whole tour really well. We had skip the queue tickets, and that worked really well. Once inside, we were given head sets, which is really great and means you don't miss any commentary on the tour. Our guide spoke good english and was very knowledgeable, due to the large number of visitors there is always one group in front of you and another just behind and we did feel a little rushed at times because you have to keep moving. The atmosphere inside the camp is obviously very solemn, but the experience is something we shall remember, and I think that is what the museum wants. To say much more about the museum might spoil it for others. Comfortable shoes are a must for austwitz bercanhow as there is a lot of walking and might not be right for some people.
All in all, it was a very interesting experience and we would recommend it to everyone but the tour operator needs to improve its communication .
Tip
Beware the toilets at bercanhow it's a pound to take leak.

Not too happy - Pick up time was changed day before instead of 12.25 it was 5.30am
Driver to Auschwitz was very informative and helpful, however the tour courier although. informative rushed each part of the museum and also Birkenhau

Can't recommend - Booked the trip 2 months earlier. They canceled the trip few weeks earlier and after that all the tickets were sold out to the museum. So you can't trust that you have a tour. It's more reliable to buy the museum tickets directly from the museum. It's super easy to travel there by train or bus.
