• Krakow’s Rynek Glowny Central Square - The adventure starts in Krakow, with pick-up from the address provided in your reservation. The drive to Oświęcim is about 1.5 hours. Our English-speaking drivers are ready to assist and answer any questions. Upon arrival, enjoy a brief coffee break and explore the outdoor exhibition. Then, the group will meet a licensed guide from the Auschwitz-Birkenau Museum.
• Panstwowe Muzeum Auschwitz-Birkenau - The visit begins at Auschwitz I, the main administrative camp of the Auschwitz complex, established by the Germans in 1940. Visitors enter through the historic gate inscribed with “Arbeit macht frei” and view the original brick barracks, now housing museum exhibits.

The exhibits detail the history of deportations, the daily life and suffering of prisoners, and include authentic items like suitcases, shoes, glasses, and personal belongings taken from victims.

Visitors will also see the courtyard between Blocks 10 and 11 with the Execution Wall, where many prisoners were executed, and Block 11, known as the “Death Block,” which contained punishment cells. The tour also includes the first gas chamber and crematorium, preserved as evidence of the crimes committed in the camp.

• Brzezinka - The second part of the visit is at Auschwitz II – Birkenau, the largest camp in the Auschwitz complex, primarily functioning as an extermination camp. Visitors will see the iconic entrance gate with the railway ramp where transports of deported people from across Europe arrived.

Throughout the expansive camp area, there are remnants of wooden and brick barracks where prisoners endured extremely harsh conditions. During the visit, guests can also view the ruins of the gas chambers and crematoria destroyed by the Germans near the end of the war.

The route also leads to the memorial and monument dedicated to the camp’s victims. Visiting Birkenau provides insight into the vast scale of the crimes and the conditions in which hundreds of thousands were imprisoned and murdered.

• Krakow - After the tour, the group gathers at a nearby parking lot for the shuttle back to Krakow. A short restroom break and a visit to a nearby bookstore are included. The return trip to Krakow takes about 1.5 hours. Each customer is dropped off at their original pick-up point, with flexibility for different drop-off locations if desired.
