Great - it was amazing, our tour guide (John) had really good commentary, we stayed for 4 hours and if i had to summarize the experience in one word, it would be phenomenal, I would 100% recommend this to anyone who’s thinking of going

Seamless Tour! - Would highly recommend the Auschwitz-Birkenau tour from Discover Cracow! I would recommend booking well in advance to ensure availability as Auschwitz is so busy! We originally booked a 10am pickup however this was changed to 1pm when we received our final confirmations the day prior to the trip (this is due to Auschwitz arranging group arrivals so the museum/camp is not too crowded at any one time). We were added to a WhatsApp group chat and introduced to our guide John (5⭐️). We were sent a map of our pick up point (which was a 5min walk from our hotel) and taken by minibus to the Auschwitz museum first where we had a little free time and then taken round the museum by John and another tour guide in a group. John was really knowledgeable and told us interesting facts whilst we wandered round the different barrack buildings etc. After a couple of hours we were then taken back on the bus to Birkenau (7 min drive or so) and there we were allowed to wander round the camp, over the railway ramps, up to the memorial and then into some of the barrack buildings. We were then taken back to Krakow and given a choice of 3 drop off locations! From pickup at 1pm, we were dropped back in Krakow at around 8.30pm so a long day but worth a visit. There is a lot of walking and come of it is over uneven terrain. Would recommend taking snacks for the bus (can leave bags etc on the bus during the tours)!
