- Podgórze - The Jewish Ghetto in Podgórze was established on March 3, 1941. It spanned 20 hectares, enclosed by a wall with three gates, encompassing fifteen streets and three hundred and twenty residential buildings. Leaving the ghetto was punishable by death.
