Embark on a journey with us to chosen locations in the Eagles’ Nests Landscape Park. This one-day adventure gives you the opportunity to explore remarkable medieval structures as well as breath-taking scenery of the Krakow-Czestochowa Upland.
The Eagles’ Nests Trail is a travel path which traverses the Małopolskie and Śląskie Voivodeships. Commencing from Krakow and ending in Częstochowa, the route is stretched 164 kilometers long. The assertion ‘Eagles’ Nests’ is bestowed upon it due to the castle ruins and fortresses scattered along its length. They earned the epithet ‘Eagles’ Nests’ because they are positioned on cliffs, some soaring as high as 30 meters.

Our tour guide was great.... - Our tour guide was great. Very personable, knowledgeable and focused on the tour. We missed a few things due to it being winter and some locations closed or too far away while the sun is up but would recommend this to everyone.

Best tour of our 10 day trip! - Five of us traveled together in a comfortable van with a very knowledgeable and kind man named Matthew. All along the way he provided information about historical battles, rulers, villages, nature, and personal experiences. We visited the seven most popular castles along eagles nest and I won’t lie, it was a work out. My mother, with a bad hip and two bad knees, joined us for the day, and though there were some staircases she couldn’t manage, Matthew was able to help her avoid these and provide her with alternative routes and views that she could manage. We were aLeo accommodated with plenty of bathroom stops for my kids as well.
Because we went in early November, the tours were devoid of tourists and leaf covered trees. This provided us with some absolutely amazing views and photos. Pack a lunch and plenty of water and enjoy the tour! You will not regret this one.

A great tour with the friendly and competent guide Maciej! Highly recommended! - It was a very successful day tour. Our guide Maciej picked us up from the hotel on time and showed us the great castles in the charming countryside around Krakow.
Maciej was a very pleasant and dedicated guide, he took care of everything, gave us interesting information about the respective sights, left us enough time for the sightseeing and responded to our wishes. A medieval festival took place at a castle and we were allowed to watch the horse show. It was remarkable that he led us to the Bledow Desert at the end, even though the estimated time for the tour was already exceeded. We would like to thank Maciej very much for this fantastic day.

Excellent tour - This was a fantastic tour and one of the most memorable from our time in Poland. If you like hiking and castles, this is the one for you. Maciej is a very accommodating guide. Highly recommended!

Perfect day trip to experience many castles and stories with a local guide - This was a perfect day trip from Krakow. The coordination for picup and drop off was great. Maciej was an amazing guide. He truly loves what he does and it shows in the care he takes and stories he tells. The tour itself was smaller so it made the adventire much more personable.

Unique experience. - Excellent experience. Castles were great and so was Majiec. He showed us all kinds of cool stuff. He even had a couple get engaged on the tour, with an amazing view in the background. And he acted as the photographer!
