Visiting the Birkenau camp lasts until 1 hour 15 minutes, including: entrance gate, ramp, wooden barracks in the prisoners lived, the gas chamber, the ruins of the crematorium.

The Auschwitz-Birkenau Museum and Memorial serves as a unique site of homage, honoring the fallen victims of World War II. Previously the largest Nazi German Concentration and Extermination Camp, it stands as one of the most visited historical landmarks globally. Tours of the museum are conducted in two phases: a two-hour exploration of Auschwitz I, followed by an hour session at Auschwitz II Birkenau. The entire excursion, inclusive of travel time, spans approximately seven hours.
- Operates in all weather conditions, please dress appropriately
- Not recommended for child aged 12 and under (parents decision)
- Museum is closed on the following dates: 1st of January, first day of Easter, 16th of April and 25th of December.

A journey you will never forget.... - Great customer service from the whole team on the day insuring the whole experience was delivered in a smooth and effortless manner from pick up to end. Great quality lunch provided ...it is a long trip over seven hours including journey but worth it and shows the huge area Auschwitz Birkenau (2 sites visited ) physically covers and brings home to you the great sadness endured ...and leaves you with a great deal to reflect on

Very nice tour with cracow visit tour and transfers company - My family and I went with the company Cracow Visit and we were very well taken care of, from the transportation to the return. Myron was responsible for taking us and was very friendly and helpful!

Scam ! Shameful! - After many changes, we were told that we had to leave Cracow at 2 AM. Arrived at the museum at 3.30 AM we had to stay in line about 5 hours straight! It was freezing cold.
At 9 AM , the guide told us that it was impossible to get tickets. We payed the tickets off one year ago. What a disgrace. Be careful. It's a scam.

Shocking company no pick up lost a full day & main reason for coming to krakow - We arrived at our pick up point at 5.30 pick up was 5.55 no pick up lots of busses come and went we stayed till 7 clock so disappointed with this company as this was our main reason to come to Poland,,, I booked this through get my guide I have contact them hoping for a refund.
The company said they had sent me a message saying pick up was 4.30 I selected pick up at 6 clock so that is not even near the time we have pick all tickets said 6 clock pick up no phone call to say they have changed our pick up time to 4.30 do not book with this company.

No experience provided - Our tour was booked through get your guide, it was for 8am pick up. We had a message the day before to say our new pick up time was 4.50, and please confirm attendance! We confirmed we would be there.. because it’s a big reason for visiting krakow.. we arrived at said time, no sign of our tour, lots of other busses came and went, but none ours? Waited till 6am, nobody answering our messages, contacted get your guide helpline who tried to help, in the end we gave up waiting.. there were 3 other people waiting for the same tour aswell, get your guide have refunded us but we were so disappointed.. with hindsight we would book directly with the museum if returning and make our own way there.
The tours don’t have tickets they just get you there to queue up with everyone hoping for the museum to provide so many tickets on the day, if you book directly (in advance) you can choose time and English speaking. Hopefully get your guide have taken them off their list of suppliers.

Auschwitz visit - I am currently stood in a que at the Auschwitz memorial to secure a ticket to gain access (despite booking the trip through TUI months ago). We were informed yesterday by Cracow Visit tour and transfers (local operator)that pickup time would be 4:45. Arrived at 6am and it's now 8:50 with an expected access time of 11:15 and that's with a Polish speaking guide. For an English speaking guide we would need to wait until approximately 2:30pm. My advice is do not book TUI trips or use Cracow visit tour and transfers. Find a different operator or book your ticket directly through the museum. Avoid Tui and Cracow visit tour and transfers at all cost.

AVOID! AVOID! AVOID! - Don’t touch this company with a barge pole! After cancelling our son’s ticket who had flown in especially from Vienna to be with us, with less than 24 hours notice, not only did they change the time of our trip to a time that would have been impossible to make the full tour, they left us standing in the pouring rain waiting for a coach that never arrived, even after our places had been confirmed. They wouldn’t answer the phone nor the WhatsApp messages. A call to our travel agents revealed this company had cancelled our trip but not bothered to tell anyone. Do not let your holiday plans be ruined, avoid these scammers like the plague! We’ll ensure we get a refund through our travel agents, if you book direct with this tour company, you may not be so lucky. We gathered that it seems to be quite a common occurrence from other ‘victims’ we spoke to.

Shocking bad customer service - Avoid this tour operator at all costs .
We booked a tour to Auschwitz for our family of 4 and our start time was 8 o clock , we waited for over an hour and they never showed up .
When we contacted them they said the tour was changed to 5am in the morning and they would not reschedule us for another tour or refund our money ( which was for 4 people) the customer service is shocking and to be honest we were ripped off .
Please don't use these people , they book a time and then last minute change it to unrealistic times that can't be done.
Very disappointing that they are getting away with ripping tourists off

Unreliable Service: Avoid Cracow Visit Tours & Transfers - I booked a tour with Cracow Visit Tours & Transfers to the Auschwitz Memorial Center. Unfortunately, my experience was marred by significant logistical issues that I feel compelled to share.Despite booking the tour the day before, my departure time was unexpectedly rescheduled to 5:30 AM. According to the terms and conditions, the earliest possible start time should have been 6:00 AM. I specifically chose this provider to avoid an early departure, as I was staying outside the city and accessing the city via public transport is challenging. Upon arrival at the pickup spot, I encountered several other frustrated travelers who experienced even worse disruptions, including changes to their actual departure dates. This lack of organization reflects poorly on the provider. Given these issues, I would strongly advise against booking a tour with Cracow Visit Tours & Transfers. The experience was highly disappointing, and the company's failure to adhere to their own terms and conditions suggests a lack of reliability and customer care. Avoid this provider to ensure your travel plans remain as scheduled.
