Isa was amazing. - Isa (Isabella) was amazing. She is highly recommended. Inspite of rain during the entire tour, Isa brought the Jewish tour to life with her riveting examples and stories.

Walking Tour of Krakow Jewish Quarter - Big Tom was great. He gave a very informative presentation whilst taking us around the Krakow Jewish quarter. He was knowledgeable, funny and personable. I would definitely recommend one of his walking tours. I have already booked my second one to go around old Krakow town and Wavell castle.

Great tour with Maciek-Kazimierz - We chose the English language tour because the Polish one didn’t work for us time wise or day wise. Our guide was Maciek, and he gave us an incredibly passionate and engaging tour of the Kazimierz district. The tour ended up lasting three hours, and the time flew by. The group was quite large — I didn’t count exactly, but there were about 25 people. There was one thing that stayed with me and that I didn’t respond to at the time, the story about Tadeusz Pankiewicz, who ran a pharmacy inside the ghetto. The guide mentioned that Mr. Pankiewicz "did nothing" during the two years his pharmacy operated there that the only thing he did was not raise prices. I feel this was an unfair and inaccurate statement to make in front of the group. In fact, Mr. Pankiewicz did a great deal for the people of the ghetto and is remembered as someone who showed great courage and compassion. I believe this comment should not have been made in that way. That said, I wholeheartedly recommend Maciek as a guide. He is clearly very knowledgeable , nice, funny and deeply committed to his work, and it shows in the way he leads the tour.

Join Maciek at Waljative! - We had a terrific experience with the best guide, Maciek. He’s very knowledgeable, took us around over 3 hours and is very passionate and interesting about Hewish history. Lived his suggestions for “homework” and walked at a good pace. The tour was recommended to us and didn’t disappoint.

Very instructive and amazing tour with Maciek! - Thank you to Maciek for these three very informative hours that passed quickly. Maciek captivated us from start to finish with his knowledge and humor. This tour allowed us to ask ourselves questions, see things from a different angle and discover a lot of things that we would never have discovered without him. We really enjoyed this tour. Thanks again! We recommend it!

Really informative easy level walking tour - Hello. I really did like this tour. Big Tom was very friendly, approachable and knowledgeable. We went places and learnt much including anecdotes. I did think the tour could have been shorter, though, maybe more focused (BT knows a lot). If the heavens open I wouldn't want to be hanging around in the pouring rain! But if you have the time, do go on this tour. And I will certainly look up other Walkative tours.

A great lesson in history and modern life in Kraków’s Jewish Quarter - A very interesting tour around Kraków’s Jewish quarter. Our guide was engaging and full of historic knowledge. We definitely would not have had the same experience trying to explore the area ourselves and we were so glad we did this tour. Kraków’s Jewish history is fascinating and goes well beyond the story of Oskar Schindler. The only issue was that one guide was unwell so our guide had to take a larger group around and it could be a bit difficult to hear the guide sometimes (this was partly caused by other groups gathering in the same area). We appreciated our guide working hard to find shade for us during our stops as it was a very hot day and for showing us some Schindler’s list film locations we can try to spot when we next see the movie.
