With a licensed expert guide, explore the acclaimed exhibition “Kraków under Nazi Occupation 1939–1945” through the perspective of Oskar Schindler’s remarkable life.
This is where Schindler employed Jewish workers and utilized his position, influence, and resources to shield them from deportation. Over a thousand men and women survived due to his bravery and resolve. As you navigate the exhibition, your guide will illuminate the stories of those he saved, often referred to as “Schindlerjuden,” whose testimonies continue to echo through generations.
Photographs, personal items, and reconstructed streets depict the fear, uncertainty, and daily challenges faced by the city’s residents. Amidst this backdrop of oppression, Schindler’s narrative emerges as one of humanity and hope.
