A very important history lesson about the rise and fall of fascism in the mid 20th Century. - Our tour guide Hannah was very good at teaching and explaining history as it relates to the Occupation, Holocaust and how Oscar Schindler saved 1100 Jewish workers lives.

Guided tour with museum highly recommended - Really good leadership. Very impressively told. We were very concerned with the whole issue. Museum has a lot of information that you can't really process all.. Museum.with guided tour highly recommended!

great organization - Marta knows the Schindler Museum inside out and explained it in a straightforward way. The whole tour ran without a hitch, thanks to Discover Krakow’s great organization. Definitely worth it if you want to learn.

Oskar Schindler was a hero - Good choice, and a good guide. However, my tour started at 10:30am, and a guide was outside with a sign showing a tour start time of 10:15am, so I didn't think it was my tour. When no one showed up for a 10:30am tour by 10:27am, I went inside and quickly caught up with my group. There was some information about Schindler, as well as about Poland and the Nazis, and their persecution of the Jews.

MY visit to the Schindler's Factory - The guide Marta was excellent , spoke good English and was very enthusiastic. She explained how the film portrayed events. It was a small group tour and Marta ensued everyone was able to hear her and followed the tour.

You can do this independently - We went on our own just to buy tickets at the entry. BIG mistake. Tours and there guides get priority and you are just left there waiting in a queue that never seems to go down. We only got in because a tour guide had bought too many tickets and was selling them outside to people waiting in the queue. Tour guides are rude and impatient with independents walking around the museum. The toilet facilities were dirty. However on the plus side the museum is well worth a visit. Just be sure to book with a tour more expensive but at least you get in.

Headsets needed. - place quite crowded. You need headsets. Too loud to hear the guide. Otherwise well designed museum. Original map behind Shindlers office. Testimonies good. Everyone should visit though.
