Amazing experience - Our tour was absolutely amazing. We felt like we were allowed to ask questions and were given a lot of information about the different wines. We ended up buying three different bottles, one of which we didn’t even try, just off of the recommendation of our wine somm. I felt very informed about the different varieties of Polish wines, the history, the style of wines that were produced, and the types of wines that might be best for my palette. A beautiful event that I am very much looking forward to attending again!

Fantastic introduction to Polish wines - Alex was a fantastic host who shared so much with us about the growth of the Polish wine culture. We had the opportunity to try 3 white wines, an orange wine, and a red wine. We had plenty of time to enjoy the wine, as well as the charcuterie board. This wine bar has a very modern and cozy vibe, and it features a fantastically curated selection of European wines. We ended up buying a bottle to further enjoy at the wine bar, as well as some wine to bring home to friends.

Wonderful Polish wine experience - Enormous thanks to Alex for an engaging wine introduction and tasting session of Polish wine. Alex's open approach and detailed yet easy-to-understand narrative of polish wine evolution made the experience both fun and instructive. I highly recommend to follow Alex for this exploration and interaction with polish wine.

Big disappointment - Waste of money - Bought this as a Christmas gift for my partner and we were both very much looking forward to it. However, it turned out to be very disappointing and a waste of money! We turned up at this lovely looking wine bar, to find 2 men stood talking. We explained the reason for the visit and were told to sit down. After a few minutes one of the men left and the other came up to us and said he wasn’t expecting a wine tasting today, and is very hungover! We found this shocking. Especially as on the trip advisor website, it states that if there is not enough people to participate, they will reschedule or refund the ticket, so we thought there would be a group of us, however we were the only people there. The man then begins to ring someone on the phone as he is bringing over bottles of wine. He is then swapping them over as he clearly doesn’t know which ones to use and is being told what to do on the phone. He then goes to put a couple on the fridge as they are clearly for the tasting but haven’t been chilled as we were unexpected guests! After 20 minutes of him talking to someone on the phone, he then brings a laptop over and goes through an outdated (his words) PowerPoint presentation with us as we try 5 wines. I felt sorry for the man as he clearly wasn’t informed that this was happening and was trying his best, however for the price we paid, it was absolutely not worth the money at all and I would strongly suggest that people didn’t buy tickets for this.
