An unmissable lesser known gem of Krakow. - From abroad, a lesser known gem. This tour did not disappoint with easy transport, easy to follow guides and a well priced experience. The Salt Mine Tour is absolutely worth it if you are staying in Krakow and KrakowDirect make it really easy from places like Old Town. Christian was our guide and he made it easy for a non Polish speaking tourist to enjoy the experience and get around efficiently.

Very cool. - We took alot of photos of the statues in the mines that were hand-made by the workers/miners/artists in the mines. It was particularly interesting how the newer statues were made in the same style and looked as if they had been made around the same time as the ones who were several hundred yeats old.

Interesting Experience - Jacob picked us up right on time in front of our apartment. After a 45ish minute drive we arrived at the salt mine. Jacob explained the two possible exits and how to get to the van before connecting is with our tour guide. He also shared a variety of restaurants and activities. The Salt Mines were interesting and worth experiencing if you have the time, though if limited on time I would choose other things first. Also, young children may not stay very engaged.

A great day at the salt mines - A wonderful tour of what is genuinely a marvel of human skill and resilience. The mines are beautiful, and we had the most lovely person to take us there in Jacob. He was warm, enthusiastic, making sure all of us were having a wonderful time and also had all the information we needed. Really enjoyed his company.
