Salt mine tour - I went with some family members to see the Salt mines and all I can say is- we loved it! Our tour guide was so knowledgeable and friendly. You can tell he cares about the town and the people of Poland. Family friendly environment and a great way to get some steps in on a vacation! This is a healthy way to spend time with your family.

Well worth a few hours of your day! - This was a last-minute decision for me and I’m so glad I decided to go! It was an EXCELLENT way to spend the morning. The night before I booked my ticket just before midnight and the van arrived by 8:30 to pick me up the next morning. It’s just a short trip outside Kraków. Our English speaking guide was friendly, attentive, and a wealth of knowledge. Very much appreciated the convenient pick up and drop off. The mine itself is impressive and beautiful. Highly recommend this unique experience!

An awesome visit with a tremendous tour guide - A perfect t day, even in the rain. We left on time from our meeting point. The driver introduced himself to everyone and told us what to expect. Our tour guide (Evangelina (I’m not 100% sure if I picked up her name correctly. There were 2 lady tour guides with the same name. Our lady had long dark hair and was very attractive) She’s been the best tour guide we’ve come across since visiting Krakow. She’s a credit to her employer. Very informative, jolly and patient. She had a wicked personality. Everyone warmed to her. This was a very interesting visit. It was well worth the money paid. I’d recommend anyone to visit the salt mines. You are walking around for 2 hours, so an element of fitness is required. They even cater for people with disabilities.

Salt mine tour highlight of Krakow. - The salt mine Tore was simply fantastic. Well it is a lot of steps going down. It is certainly manageable. I’m 74 and my wife is 72 and we were able to make all of the physical requirements of the tour without a problem. Clearly the highlight of the tour is the beautiful chapel, salt figures, and the beautiful lighting on the way down.

Sal mine - A long walk to the lift about 14 mins and then back to the main entrance another 10 min walk. Lots of walking and your legs feel like jelly once you’ve climbed down the steps.

Salt mines - Tour guide was fantastic as was the driver. The mines themselves are just wow and definitely worth a visit, there are a lot of stairs so for anyone not able to manage just tell them there is a disabled access.

Mixed feelings - At the start we had to wait about 15 mins in the pouring rain as there wasn’t enough room under the canopies due to the crowds. We got absolutely soaked. Even though our tour guide was excellent the group was too large to get the best experience. Lots of other large groups and everything was really rushed. Still worth a visit

Not a nice experience. - We had to be at the meeting place at 9 o'clock, at 9.30 the very cramped bus arrived, I am 169cm and was already cramped, nothing was communicated by the host lady about the delay. Because of the driver who spoke poor English, we were dumped at the entrance, the tour went in a hurry again, apparently something that is there, so no time to take a quiet look and take pictures, you could not hear the guide anymore and the next group was already there and that guide looked at you dirty that you had to go through. After the tour there was possibly a museum to visit but no one knew if that was possible because the driver was waiting and it was not said whether that was allowed or not, so but not done, really a shame. The mine itself is quite nice to visit. Then back with the cramped bus.
