Highlanders, the local settlers, are celebrated for their handcrafted production of “oscypek,” a smoked cheese made from sheep’s milk. The wooden structures where this cheese is crafted are known as “Bacówki.” In these quaint wooden huts, you can sample various types of this cheese with different levels of smoking and learn about its production process.

• Zakopane - Photo opportunities, visits, leisure time, breaks, shopping, sightseeing, and walking.
• Gubalowka - While in Zakopane, taking the cable car to the summit of Gubałówka (1123 m above sea level) is a must. The modern car with a glass roof ascends, offering stunning views of the Tatra vegetation’s layered arrangement and the peaks of Poland’s high mountains.

At the summit, numerous attractions await, including a breathtaking panorama of the Tatra Mountains, an uninterrupted view of Zakopane nestled at the mountain’s base, and the chance to relax in the sunshine.

From 06.10 to 10.10, the Gubałówka cable car will be closed for maintenance. Instead, our tour will drive as high as possible and take a short walk to the viewpoint. As compensation, guests will receive a complimentary lunchbox of their choice and enjoy a mulled wine tasting. You will explore this popular pedestrian street, which also serves as a city square and focal point. Throughout the year, Krupówki Street is bustling with tourists visiting shops and regional restaurants. Here, you can find many traditional highlander items, such as clothing and souvenirs.

You will have free time to explore Zakopane independently. Begin at Krupówki and take your time to discover other attractions in the city.
