• Andrea II Dive - Participants will receive an explanation about bioluminescence and the unique ostracod bioluminescent displays found in the Caribbean.
  A briefing will be provided on snorkeling procedures, including dos and don’ts.
  Participants will fit and wear snorkel gear, and guides will use lights as a safety measure, as bioluminescence is visible only in complete darkness. Guides will lead participants to a safe entry point and demonstrate the best ways to observe this phenomenon, which is unique to the Caribbean, while sharing additional fascinating facts.
  After the experience, once out of the water, guides are happy to share more about the enchanting world of living light, if conditions permit, so feel free to ask questions!
  Guides enjoy discussing the limited knowledge of bioluminescence, like what was just witnessed, and will answer any questions to the best of their ability, based on current studies.
