From the beach you walk straight into the crystal clear waters that are teeming with all kinds of different fish and corals.
We will show you how local people use traditional fishing methods to catch fish.
Then it’s time to clean some fresh fish and fry them up on the grill.
Of course you’re welcome to help along!

The best outing on the island! - We were super excited to learn a new method of fishing. It was so much fun to snorkel and fish with a hand line, all while you are seeing the corals and creatures below. Franz and his daughter were so welcoming. He explained everything in detail and kept checking in with you while you were in the water, which made you feel safe and was much appreciated!
I can’t begin to tell you how delicious the fresh caught fish was that was cooked right there on the beach! Some of the best grouper & snapper we’ve eaten. We could have stayed there all day. Hands down, this was the best part of our trip! ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND!! 😎

Must Do While in Bonaire! - We had a fantastic time snorkeling and learning how to fish with a hand line. Catching our own fish and then having it fried to perfection was definitely a highlight of our trip. Hands down the best fried fish we had while on the island, can’t get any fresher and better than freshly caught grouper.
Frans and his family were super welcoming and accommodating which made the whole experience even better. A great way to spend a morning in Bonaire. 1000% must do!

Best Bonaire Experience - We had a great time on this tour. Franz and Marie offer a very personal tour and were very accomodating when we wanted to add more people last minute. The snorkeling was amazing and had a great variety of sea life especially being so close to shore. The guys went out further snorkeling to a drop off and spool fished with instructions from Franz. My husband, as a hobby fisherman, was ecstatic to catch fish a new way. Franz also brought more fresh caught fish to cook on the beach to feed us all. We had snapper and grouper, with the grouper being a group favorite. We would definitely recommend this tour option.

Relaxing - Franz was a great, personable host of a simple half-day outing that was truly relaxing. Snorkelling was good right off the shore of Donkey Beach and I even caught a grouper which Franz fried up on the beach. I could've stayed all day!

Super! - We did this excursion in March 2024 at the end of our holiday and loved it so much that we wanted to do it again this year right at the beginning of our holiday. With many good tips we could get started the next day with a good result. Definitely recommended!

Snorkel fishing - We had a great afternoon with Frans and Marie and their girls....we snorkeled out and caught a couple snappers that Frans fried up on the beach for us.....a great value for this excursion...can't get any fresher.....it was one of the highlights of our trip

Such a relaxing and fun new experience!!! - Personal attention, safe and a great family that is your guide. I had so much fun snorkeling and fishing! My husband stayed closer to the shore but still saw plenty of fish while snorkeling. Best overall excursion we have ever taken!

Awesome unique adventure - This was a unique experience and we enjoyed it. We snorkeled, learned how to fish without a traditional rod and then e ate the fish that were caught. The team was very personable and polite. I highly recommend this excursion.

Great time. - Great experience. I caught 3 fish and he caught the rest 😆. Friendly and made sure we ate fish first and then he ate. Very considerate. Cold waters and sodas were provided. He also waited for us with a sign and helped us with our luggage. Took us back to ship after the experience.
