Great day our on the water - Our guide was informative and fun, he took through the mangroves and explained what we would be seeing and then what we may see. The snorkeling part was fun, I saw a lot of the gray snappers. We enjoyed this trip, we recommend it and would do it again

Great experience! - Tour done under the guidance of guide Tim (or was it Mr Tom;) ) Items that did not go with the tour can be left under lock and key. Got a tip to fill the water bottles so you would start with a full bottle. Got an explanation about the mangrove, what they do and what it is for. Also got the rules for kayaking to be respectful of the environment. Tim was enthusiastic, could tell all kinds of things about the mangrove and also pointed out animals. Delicious humor!! Tim, thank you for helping me get back in the kayak after snorkeling. And help Peter get back in when he flipped in the middle of the mangrove! You could let him swim longer;)

Enjoyed it!! Unique trip! - Beautiful tour through the mangroves. Guide Eric explained everything well. Because there were 1 set of English wares, most of it was done in English (could have been done in Dutch more often) While snorkeling, a turtle swam under me, very special. We really enjoyed the tour and the beautiful nature. Highly recommended!!

Very fun and educational tour! - A really nice tour! One you can't miss when you're on Bonaire. You will receive clear instructions in advance about what you will do and how important the area is. Then you go out. We had a very nice group and a fantastic guide! What a beautiful environment and how nice to literally kayak through the mangrove. You can hardly do that anywhere in the world!

Nice low key authentic experience - We were in Bonaire for the day off a cruise ship, and booked directly versus doing one of the ship's excursions. The taxi took about 20 minutes from town and the last part is a very bumpy dirt road. The guy who led the tour checked us in, it was all very straightforward and easy-going. He gave us a few safety tips and had a place for us to store our bags for the stuff we weren't bringing on the kayak. Most of us were in tandem kayaks, which can be both a blessing and a curse (arguments will happen). Our group had about 15 people. We paddled gently through the mangroves out to a bay, stopped, kept going through another section, again out to a bay. In the open water, it can be challenging to paddle against the wind, but nothing we couldn't handle. This tour is best suited for somebody with a little bit of ability to paddle and swim. When we got to the snorkeling spot, we all hopped out of the kayaks and put our snorkel gear on and swam through the mangrove… Again against the current. So be prepared for some physical activity. There was a section where you must not stand because you are swimming over the reef, but that part was optional. Snorkeling was great, visibility was not fantastic the day we did this. We saw fish hiding under the mangrove roots, some crabs, pelicans, a whole cluster on the reef of unique jellyfish that rest on the bottom tentacles up, but does not sting, huge schools of little tiny, tiny fish. The hardest part for some people in our group was getting back in the kayak from the water. We all managed it, perhaps not very gracefully lol. Going back was much easier with the current. You may want to wear water shoes, But I was barefoot with no problems. The seafloor was soft and not too rocky at all.

5 stars for an indispensable experience. - Enjoyed every minute of it! A unique experience to kayak right through the mangrove forest. The accompanying story with an explanation of the usefulness and vulnerability of the Mangrove makes you look around with different glasses. Along the way, a number of details were identified. Tourguide Erik managed to bring the story beautifully with a combination of humor and facts. The snorkeling was also special. A unique landscape to behold. There is some current in the water here, so for the slightly lesser swimmers it can be a bit exciting. For us, every minute with our guide Erik was enjoyable. Thank you for this experience and we recommend it to everyone!

Amazing Bonaire adventure - Guides were amazing. Mangrove tunnel kayaking is so much fun and it’s an easy ride. Guests are offered double kayaks. A large sea turtle swam under us as we snorkeled through the mangrove tunnel. Also a huge school of fish swam under us. We could see how the school of fish huddled under the mangrove roots.
