Please Note: If your tour starts at 08:30, your guide will meet you at 08:15, 15 minutes prior to the tour’s start time.

Your guide will arrive at your pick-up location 15 minutes before your tour begins. We will inform you of any changes.
- Kralendijk - At the beginning of the tour, we will share some information about the downtown area of Kralendijk.
Downtown Kralendijk consists of a few streets and is easy to explore on foot. Kaya Grandi is the main street, where most shops, restaurants, and cafes are located. After the tour, we can drop you off in the center if you wish to shop and explore. If you’re on a cruise, the ship port is less than a 5-minute walk from the central downtown area, making it easy to return to your ship before departure.
- Harbour Village Marina - Harbour Village Marina is one of two marina facilities on the island where both local and visiting yachts can book moorings and stay. It also serves as a safe haven for surrounding boats during storms, providing shelter and calmer waters.
- Trans World Radio Bonaire (TWR) - Trans World Radio plays a significant role in global radio and features a stunning mural that is hard to miss. We’ll provide more information during the tour and offer a chance to take photos.
- Hato - Many of the island’s hotels are located in the Hato neighborhood. We’ll pass through parts of this area and share insights as we head north.
- Sabadeco - Here, you will see some of the largest homes on Bonaire. Your guide will explain why people from around the world are moving to this area and why it is highly valued.
- 1000 Steps - At 1000 Steps, we will stop so you can walk around and take pictures of the stunning scenery and clear blue ocean. Whether you descend the steps to the sea or stay on top, you’ll enjoy a beautiful view of the area and coast.
- Queen’s Highway - Tolo Dive Site is one of the island’s top dive sites due to the large reef and schools of fish inhabiting the coral cliffs. From a distance, you’ll see intriguing boulder patterns, and your guide will point out lines on the cliffs indicating where the water level was thousands of years ago.
- landhuis Karpata - From the 17th century until 1863, Bonaire, like many Caribbean islands, relied on slave labor for plantations and salt pans. Throughout the island, remnants of this era serve as reminders of the hard work that built the island’s economy. At Karpata, you’ll see a building where women and children stayed during the week.
- 6JC8+GQ2 - Oil and resources are crucial to daily life on Bonaire. However, unlike many places, islands do not have a natural local supply. At BOPEC, your tour guide will show you some of the island’s oil tanks and explain their placement.
- Goto Lake - Goto (pronounced Go-To) Meer is a beautiful protected reserve where you can often see flamingos and native birds in their natural habitat. You’ll also notice the sparkle of salt deposits and dense greenery in this northern part of the island. As this is a protected area, we will not exit the vehicle, but you will have the opportunity to take photos and spot flamingos. In the distance, you’ll see Brandaris, the tallest point on Bonaire, located in the Washington Nature Preserve Park.
- Rincon - Rincon was the first official town established in the 16th century. Here, you’ll see some of the oldest buildings on the island, typical local architecture, and learn why this location was chosen as the first official settlement when the Spanish discovered Bonaire.
- The Cadushy Distillery - You will visit a local distillery producing Bonaire’s liquor and spirits. Please note the distillery is open from 10 am to 5 pm, Monday to Saturday.
- Bonaire Landsailing Adventures - After Rincon, we will explore the windy and breathtaking east coast of Bonaire, where you can feel the crashing waves and often see roaming wild donkeys. We’ll also pass Bonaire’s Land Sailing Adventure track, where you can watch people zipping around in their sail karts.
This is the final stop, and from here, we will drive you back to the ship. It’s a great time to ask questions and chat with your tour guide.
- Seru Largu - We will be atop a hill where you can view Bonaire from a high point in the middle of the island.
- North Saliña - This is the second oldest neighborhood on the island, where the indigenous people relocated.
- Antriol - This is the largest neighborhood in Bonaire.
- Bonaire - Here, your guide will provide more information about Bonaire’s main street.
This will be our last point of interest; while driving back downtown, we encourage you to ask questions, and we will share more about the island.
