Liquid Descent Rafting Experience - These guys are amazing. I’ve tried both the cat 3-4 rapids in Idaho Springs and the Upper Colorado laid back tour with Liquid Descent. Both were outstanding. Their team works hard and has an incredible passion for the outdoors. They also make safety a priority while making sure everyone has a good time. We own a home in Breckenridge and will continue to use these guys as our guests request a rafting experience!

Really enjoyed the float - My husband & I decided to try rafting, as we’d never done it before. This would definitely be a great family activity. There were kids on one of the rafts floating with us, they were ~ 8 yrs old. Very safe activity, didn’t get too wet. Scenery was beautiful, we could take pics along the way. Bring a waterproof phone cover.

Spectacular morning on the river with friends and family - Went on an early morning rafting trip with friends and family, and we had an amazing time! Kenneth was our guide and knew exactly how to keep things interesting for us the entire trip. We had a 9 year old, 10 year old, 14 year old, and 4 adults on the raft, and everyone enjoyed themselves. Very few rapids, but it’s a great beginner trip. We saw plenty of wildlife, had time for a detour in a hot spring, and just about everyone enjoyed some cliff diving along the way! Spectacular way to start our day!

No thank you to Viator - The description here doesn't say it all, and the person I talked to at Viator was incredibly unhelpful didn't understand basic questions, and incorrect on the answers he did give. Real answers/experience: - Closed-toed shoes required (or $5 rentals) - No plastic or anything that could be trash - No alcohol (bus included) - You can eat on the bus, and leave anything you can't bring - The guide looked at us like we had 3 heads when we said something about the otters - Depending on the time of year, you may see goats when the higher part of the mountain dries out and they have to come down closer to the river. We didn't see any, but it's a toss up - Rafts are filled, so you may go with people you don't know. Rafts are 7 people + 1 guide. - Relaxing - Very slow ride - Cool eagle nest - Pretty - Cliff jump was great - Minimal, short rapids. Only 1 person in our raft got slightly splashed. - Good for 1st timers or kids - All the guides are cool - Good ice cream place across the street to end the day Thank you to the place that actually hosts the trip. This post may get taken down if I say the name. You can look up rafting places in the area. No thank you to Viator.
