Three “Golden Girls” celebrated 40 years of friendship - Three “Golden Girls” celebrated 40 years of friendship by taking the easy float Kremmling to Radium with Andrew. We saw Big Horn Sheep and lots of Canada geese with goslings. Andrew made the trip fun with sightings of “gullible fish” and a stop at the hot springs and cliff jumping along the way. Next time we will be ready for Levels 2-5!!!

Fun rafting for all ages - We had a great time even though my daughter went into the river and my husband nearly did as well at the very beginning of the trip! Our party of 5 ranged in age from 5 to 67. The youngest one didn't help with paddling too much but our guide was great with getting him involved with the trip in other ways. We were glad that we brought our towels with us on the bus - it made for a warmer trip back.

Incredible Experience - This was our first time rafting, and we loved it! Kenny was our guide and he was phenomenal, very knowledgeable about the area and a great sense of humor. He was very accommodating to our groups needs. I would highly recommend this company, we can’t wait to visit Colorado again to try a bit more aggressive course with Liquid Descent.

Wonderful rafting experience! - Our group of 8 had an amazing trip on the Colorado river! Our guide, Andrew, was so fun and knowledgeable. The photo package was very affordable and we got great pictures. The views along the river were top notch. All of the staff at Liquid Descent were super friendly and we would definitely recommend them for your rafting adventures!

Rafting with friends and family - We went rafting with Liquid Descent as a group of 8 - 6 adults and 2 teenagers. Our original booking had to be moved due to lack of water but the company were really helpful in arranging an alternative. Our river guide Charlotte was friendly, chatty and professional. Everyone had a great time - the river was not too extreme so great for beginners. Several of our group were brave enough to do the cliff jump - definitely not for the faint hearted - which really made the trip for the younger members of our party. Well organised activity and a great afternoon out on the river.

Family River Time - Fun family trip, we booked Clear Creek Beginner trip for early August, unfortunately the water level had dropped so rapidly we couldn’t float it. Alan was on the ball to get a hold of us and give us options. We decided to do the Upper Colorado Beginners. It was a nice float trip, but we definitely wanted some more white water action, maybe earlier in the summer would be better. The Kids got to do some cliff jumping which helped the lack of white water. All in all it was a peaceful float and provided much needed opportunity to unwind and soak up the scenery. Izzy was a great guide and super friendly.

No thank you to Viator - The description here doesn't say it all, and the person I talked to at Viator was incredibly unhelpful didn't understand basic questions, and incorrect on the answers he did give. Real answers/experience: - Closed-toed shoes required (or $5 rentals) - No plastic or anything that could be trash - No alcohol (bus included) - You can eat on the bus, and leave anything you can't bring - The guide looked at us like we had 3 heads when we said something about the otters - Depending on the time of year, you may see goats when the higher part of the mountain dries out and they have to come down closer to the river. We didn't see any, but it's a toss up - Rafts are filled, so you may go with people you don't know. Rafts are 7 people + 1 guide. - Relaxing - Very slow ride - Cool eagle nest - Pretty - Cliff jump was great - Minimal, short rapids. Only 1 person in our raft got slightly splashed. - Good for 1st timers or kids - All the guides are cool - Good ice cream place across the street to end the day Thank you to the place that actually hosts the trip. This post may get taken down if I say the name. You can look up rafting places in the area. No thank you to Viator.
