Bokor National Park - Exploring Bokor Mountain
Start the day with breakfast and begin the tour at 8:30 am. The first stop offers a stunning view of Kampot city, Kep, and part of the ocean. The journey continues to the former king’s residence, built in 1936 by the French. Next, visit the old Khmer pagoda and the French church, constructed in the 1920s, followed by the old casino from 1925. The final stop at the top is the Popokvil Waterfalls. After exploring Bokor Hill, return to Kampot town for lunch. Post-lunch, take a break until 5:00 pm, then embark on a boat trip along the Kampot River to visit a fishing village and enjoy the sunset.

Day 2: Discover Cambodian Lifestyle in the Countryside, Caves, Crab Market, and Sunset by the Beach
La Plantation - The Salt Fields

On the second day, explore the countryside. The first stop is the salt fields to learn about the process of making salt from seawater. The journey continues to La Plantation, where peppers and other plants are grown. Discover the unique skills involved in cultivating Kampot pepper, renowned worldwide. The one-hour tour includes pepper and spice tasting, showcasing why Kampot pepper is a famous and unique product.
Phnom Kampong Trach Cave - After visiting La Plantation, head to Kampong Trach Mountain Cave, located about 20 miles east of Kampot town. The site features pre-Angkorian ruins, including a cave at the mountain’s base and several small mountain wells used for worship by locals of Cambodian, Chinese, and Vietnamese descent. If time allows, visit Phnom Chhnork to explore the mysterious caves used by Buddhist monks and later by the Khmer Rouge as a hideout.
Kep Crab Market - The tour continues to the largest BBQ seafood market in Kep province. Before visiting the crab market, enjoy lunch at a restaurant featuring special dishes like fried crabs with Kampot green peppers, a regional specialty. After lunch, explore and taste BBQ seafood recipes at the crab market, where fresh, dried, and BBQ seafood are sold, along with crab or fish salad with spicy sauce. Sample local snacks made by locals as a dessert after lunch.
Kep - After completing the activities, visit some old buildings in Kep, including statues of a naked lady and the king of crabs. Conclude the city tour with a visit to Kep beach for a swim (optional) and relaxation until sunset. After sunset, return to the hotel.
