Angkor Wat Classic Tour with Japanese Guide - This is a classic full-day tour of Cambodia's most famous World Heritage Site, the Angkor Ruins, with a Japanese-speaking guide. It is very reasonable and highly recommended for first-time Angkor Wats, for an additional fee of about 10,000 yen per person, including lunch at a local restaurant and Apsara dance dinner. A Japanese guide will come to the lobby of the hotel after 4am to watch the sunrise at Angkor Wat. On the way, you will purchase a one-day pass (or a three-day pass, for example) at the ticket booth of the Angkor Pass, and then watch it near the gate of Angkor Wat in time for the sunrise. After watching the sunrise, we returned to our hotel for breakfast, then rejoined our Japanese-speaking guide. In the morning, we visited the Bayon Temple, Elephant Terrace, and King Rai Terrace on the vast grounds of Angkor Thom. We also visited the nearby Taphrome before having lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, there was about an hour of free time, and those who wanted to could go to the Angkor National Museum or a massage parlor, and in the evening, they could spend about two hours relaxing in Angkor Wat. Unfortunately, I was not able to climb the third corridor, which is the centerpiece of Angkor Wat, because it is Buddha's Day four times a month this time, but I want to look forward to it next time. After watching the sunset near the gates of Angkor Wat again, we stopped at an Angkor cookie souvenir shop for a buffet dinner with a show of "Apsara dance", a folk dance, in the evening. It took more than 17 hours in total to see the highlights of Angkor Wat in one day, and although it was very exhausting due to the hard schedule, the explanations of the Japanese guides were easy to understand and it was a very good tour because they always paid attention to the participants.
